Obvious bitterness first: which you'd listened to us initially, would have saved some drama and bad poasting.

That said, great move, one that makes me happy... Really looking forward to lighting fixes and improvements too.

Good news, but why not implement a button -> boarding/unboarding?

when boarding, you have shipspinning
when unboarding, you have station walking

with this toggle, we have to restart game?

As someone who posted in that threadnaught, remarking specifically about watching what you do, I can say you've improved your communication. These fixes and enhancements will be most welcome when they go live.

Keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to seeing ever better out of you (and you can count on your customer base to demand it).

As I've been posting increasingly angrily at pointless dev blogs, such as the Incarna 1.1 blog, thanks for a meaningful blog which addresses what the players actually care about; delivering specific content and fixes.

Now I wonder if we might be able to get a rough estimate on deploying the missing CQ's?

I'm not going to ask for sov changes/capitals rebalancing etc, as that is probably for the winter expansion. But I would like to hear a few bits if they're to be had. :)

Old hangers back, finally!

In addition to the GPU requierments and the long load times, it was just plain imersion breaking.

Yay for new cyno effect - hopefully as cool as the old one.

Confirming I still don't care about ship spinning. When I had this "feature" I had it turned off as it seemed pointless. The only good thing about getting the hanger view back is that I can now see what ship I'm in easier.

The other things are just ok I suppose not good or bad. I'm glad to see graphics improvements I did not like that my character looked much different in the creator than he did in the CQ (maybe it will look better).

All this is fine and dandy, but...


- Can you PLEASE fix the annoying as hell video bug where there's a "the display driver stopped responding and has recovered" windows error message? It happens EVERY TIME I jump gates, jump bridge, undock... and it started happening after Incarna. And yes, I have all my drivers up to date.

I still wonder, do CCP recognize what happened or still is happening - that the feeling that sole solution for problems is extreme rage, drama, unsubscribing etc. was strongly cultivated into community ?

Does the vicious cycle we saw - ignore any input, release broken and poorly (if outright mad) thought stuff, pretend everything is OK, suffer, make "emergency" meetings - will continue ?

Sure, drama has some entertainment value in itself, but I somehow think that value is still of a magnitude lesser than a value of just well made game.

As for graphics improvement for CQ - again, they were sorely needed. But, I know what I will do - I surely will check improved CQ to see if my char isn't so unbearably ugly anymore. Probably I will enjoy that, I really hope. And then I will leave CQ for good, because there is nothing to do and will be nothing to do in any foreseeable future.

It's sad that a blog announcing reversing out the bad things that were added is the best dev blog in months. I hope the implementation of this works - it'll be an improvement.

Thanks for the update, and hope this get's released sooner rather than waiting for the winter expansion as it seems to be almost ready.

One question to t0rfi: you seem to be very reluctant to comment on the immersion-breaking quality of mandatory "unboarding". This issue was prominently featured in several posts you responded to, yet you chose to avoid it. Can you explain?
