I'm super interested seeing which specific ships he wants to tweak. Some of the long standing ships like the NH, Cerb, Eagle, Omen, etc all drive me nuts. :)

I would not mind a retooling of the tier system and maybe a tweak or two to the myrm. Oh and an adjustment to the active armor tanking bonus. Since Gallente is pretty versatile maybe give us a bonus we can use in less niche situations.

I'm pretty well content with the Gallente bonuses... but I wouldn't object to the resist and active tanking rigs getting a different penalty.

Ed: Also, 125m^3 Myrms please. And extra drone bay (but not bandwidth) for most Gallente ships. That'd be pretty mad pimp.

They made adjustments to Blasters, though they count as Caldari and Gallente main weapon.

If someone runs another Vindi fleet in alliance tournament and they are forced to welfare some killmails, it will get more direct Gallente buffs I'm sure. They are still wiping the pie out of thier face from lasts years comedy side show.

I'm on the same half. Hell I didn't think hybrids needed as strong of a buff as they got, and my combat main is heavily favored towards gallente hulls. Just some fitting tweaks (which they got too) and some minor bumps. I wouldn't classify the 5% dmg with 20% tracking and 10% dmg with javelin/tracking changes to rails 'minor'. Sprinkle on some base speed/agility bumps to hulls. Null extension is pushing it towards OP with beefy blaster tracking coupled with that additional reach.. kinda spanks barrage/scorch in dmg projection in some reguards. I might even argue that null is flat out better than barrage, maybe not scorch.. but the arguement would stem from the ammo themselves. Barrage's glory is coupled with the falloff bonuses and the ship speeds of the ships that use barrage heavily.

I can say tho, that my ship manufacturing toon has significant sales favoring gallente over the other 3 races since Crucible launch.. even near 3 months after the expansion. I'm really struggling to keep thorax, incursus, and mag stabs on the shelf.. a small testiment to ppl's acceptence of the changes.

Yes I have been thinking about extra drone bay not bandwidth for a while. That would be da titz lol

If that's true, then you should let the Caldari LP stores know, since they only seem to stock railguns.

personally i am still looking foward to the t1 ammo boost (like they did for minmatar) as a person who likes his pve this will help me with damage selection against certain rats...

also i am pulling for the mod that increases your hp by 15% (energized regenerative membrane) to get a skill bonus for certain gallente ships like the brutix hyperion astarte and so on that increases the effectiveness of the mod... that way if you fit one with max skills it would work eq to a 1600 for a bs/bc 800 for a crusier and 400 for frig...

what this would do is make it so ONLY gal ships can be fast and amour tanked...

i also think that the winsause for hybrids should be how they use heat... a hybrid turret should shoot two charges per cycle but reduce rate of fire by 50%... (this would keep dps the same but double alpha)

I'd be really surprised if they do anything with damage type selection with hybrid or laser ammo. Also, the faster reload time *almost* makes the extra ammo types usable with rails...

still keep it therm/kin just make it so something like antimater is 50/50 uranium is 80/20 kin/therm and plutonium is 20/80 kin/therm plus uniform the ammo to 3 levels -50% 0% +60% and chuck in some tracking bonus for 0% and +60% in addition to cap usage bonus

I could care less about resist damage. I would like to see Beam crystals get thier Armor/ Shield base damages flipped though. Same for some T2 on the other weapons platforms.

That stat isn't very useful. Its meant to give you an idea how hard you hit against T1 resist shields and T1 resist armor... its mere existence is misleading.

well think about it this way if you fight sansha you want to do em damage as primary then thermal then kin then explosive...

having an ammo type that does only 41% thermal and 59% kin... this mean that you are gimped and its not worth it to use hybrids...

but if you had ammo that 80% thermal and 20% kin or visa versa it would make hybrids worth using...

this is more a carebear pve wishlist item but i would love it to bits... plus having a tracking bonus for 0% range ammo too for certain pvp fits... especially with the 5 second reload time

O.o? You guys are doing it wrong. Duel rep myrmidon , talos, nueting domi, Duel rep ishtar , sentry ishtar, vindi. These are all great gal sub caps. Although i would like to see a drone boost to deal with the changing times.

I have more space likes than you.

cleary this shows the effectiveness of the hybrid boost...

its clear what was some what good before just got better but what was s*it before is still cr@p now...

As a gal fan who spent months going on about how gallente didn't need to be buffed in the first place, you really can't.

TBH my main problem with the rebalance is that it seemed more like it was shifting the way blasters work to a more AC-type weapon. Null range increase was soooooo not needed, and it just reeks of homogenization. It's well balanced at least (though warp mechanics still need a looking at, as do rails in general, it made me sad to realize that the oracle does more DPS at 200km than the naga), but if I wanted to fly minmatar ships, I'd fly minmatar ships.
