"PLEX can no longer be used for Character transfer fee payments"

I'm a bit uneducated when it comes to character transfers.

How big a hit in terms of isk would this be to those building up characters to sell in comparison to say... using skill extractors to strip those same characters down and selling the injectors?

It's not that. It's that people will be less likely to use the service if the only way to do it is with real money rather than pretend money.

Plus it's one of the few decent sinks left in the game. My guess is we're going to see a drop in PLEX prices. Starting as soon as this new thing becomes more well known.

Again: This will penetrate the rectum of the people who don't own a VISA or MasterCard, since they will be unable to use the character-transfer-service after the patch. Disappointing change to say the least.

No bloody wonder that even the devs posts more on reddit then here.
Who would have actually though the original forums would ever become worse then the (the stuff that comes out of the part of the body you sit on) that reddit actually is.

It's funny because I planned to transfer this character before the new forums strike and wanted to do so using the PLEXes I have laying around my accounts... but now I'll need to consider rushing that process or be forced to give CCP even more money...

Though seriously, after what they did with the Rorquals I'm stunned any of you are shocked, CCP is going to start milking its players like never before, they literally hired a person specifically who had a ton of experience in that.

Unfortunately, some of you won't be able to sell any characters you may have been training without swiping your credit card, but all is not lost! Why not to take advantage of our generous offers on Skill Extractors™? Wouldn't want all that training time and SP going to waste, would you?

And to all those of you planning to purchase characters that will be affected, don't worry! You can still purchase Skill Injectors™ on the market to give your characters™ a boost with a few clicks of a button!

Really, so if you guys remove posts for no good reason then we have nothing to say, were do we complain?
Will this one be removed for discussion of the rules as well?

And do you guys really want us all to file tickets when we feel a post has been removed for no good reason? Cause that could really open up the floodgates.
Even the ISD should have the ability to use their heads and understand why things are posted here rather then removing every single post they find the slighest big offensive.
