Probably there are some differences between what is returned via the API and the file version.

I was thinking about including 3d data visualization like this: http://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qtdatavisualization-custominput-example.html but I don't know if such features are really needed and how it should work exactly. Anyone has any ideas?

Tried it couple of times, Have about 500 orders, It collects current price data for only about 1/4 of them, so whats the point?

When after I update Current market prices I still have "no price data" for over 3/4 of my orders. So what use is it to me?

  1. Did the import finish without problems?
  2. Are you sure there are competing orders?
  3. Are those orders in citadels, which are not supported by Eve api?

I am trying to learn station trading and downloaded Evernus. There are bunch of columns I do not understand and I can't find any documentation for it either.

In the market analysis tab there are:

Score - is this some kind of scoring system Evernus does to determine a good trade?
5% volumes and prices - What 5% is this referred to?



What is the bogus order threshold setting? I assume it filters out deviating orders, but how does it work in practice?

Score is basically the difference in price multiplied by volume. In other words, the profit potential.
5% refers to price based on top 5% orders by volume. This gives more accurate results when someone tries to manipulate the market. In addition, the bogus order threshold is used to discard orders deviating too much from the 30-day avg price.

When the official version is ready, you'll have to manually install it - the updater won't notice.

Thanks! I played around with it a bit. Did get some long lockups while pulling citadel orders, it pulled them all, just took a good amount of time.

That's good to hear. The new version (which will come out any time now) will trigger your updater, so no need to install manually. It also should pull citadels a bit faster.

New version comes with new goodies:

  • [new] fetching orders from citadels
  • [new] configurable retries in case of ESI errors (Network Preferences – default: 3; no more "connection closed" errors!)
  • [fixed] some network errors not showing up
  • [fixed] possible db errors when reverting to earlier versions
  • [changed] multiline errors in active tasks dialog are now split into actual many lines instead of a giant one
  • [changed] added some help texts to various tabs
  • [changed] new colors for candlesticks in technical analysis for items
  • [changed] different price types by default in Market Analysis, to avoid 0ISK difference confusion
  • [changed] 119.5 database

Hi Pete.

I'm having an issue with SSO. When I enter credentials I get redirected to a page with the helpful message:

"An error occurred"

I've tried with an external browser but get the same thing. SSO with Pyfa is working no problem, so it's not account related.

I'm wondering if the SSO URL is incorrect (e.g. I have no value for client_id). If you have any ideas I'd very much appreciate it.

Try to remove Evernus from your authenticated apps here: https://community.eveonline.com/support/third-party-applications/ Then re-authenticate.
I saw this error on my account and this helped.

EDIT: wait, no client id? Which version/system are you using?

Compiled locally. Running Arch, installed via AUR. Version 1.50 but had the same issue with version 1.48.

Ah, that explains it. When you build it locally, you have to register your own client at https://developers.eveonline.com/ . For obvious reasons, I cannot include my client id and secret in the code. I updated the build instructions: http://evernus.com/help/#source_code_compilation_all
