Signed. EVE is great partly because it has people from all over on the same server. Encouraging this can only be a good thing.

As an Italian that couldn't get some of his friends to play EvE due to the missing localization, I very much understand these issues. I stopped hoping for an Italian localization long ago and completely understand why it'll never happen - but the Japanese localization does exist and it should absolutely get the support and attention it deserves.

+1 agree

Japanese community have a good potential to increase more player in EVE. Some MORPG got 100k active player and Japanese market is quite big imo.

However Japanese player doesnt know what is EVE because of less promotion.(even NEXON never do anything promotions several years and some Japanese player are blaming for this. )

If CCP is truly to planning terminate Japanese language support, that it too early to decide and they are still a lot of things to do.

I agree.

It sucks that dedicated players would not be able to continue to play a game they love simply because it is losing support for their native language, whatever it may be.

We need a variety of players and a variety of corps, alliances, and support to suit international play styles that create content.

Japanese players are truly wonderful, they are good and class with pvp and help each other with incursions.

They are a vital aspect to the community.

Signed. CCP has had issues with localization for a while now, and while I understand that localization can be expensive, EVE going F2P means that this is a perfect opportunity to recommit to the Japanese EVE community. After all, few people are going to play a game that looks trashy in their native language. Hell, CCP could even crowdsource translations from the EVE community if they want to save some money. The BeamNG.Drive crew have experience with high-quality crowdsourced translations, and I'm sure they could give CCP some pointers.

Hi,

I am a German playing in English but from many visits in Asia I know that it is nearly impossible to Understand something written if you don't share the characters base.

We need every player for the future of eve so please do not abandon a language and a character set.

At least give the p2p eve a chance to grow.
