I would also like to point out the inconsistency of the updated item icon quantity values.

This shows that it was a either a rushed job, or very poorly executed.

I'll admit it is almost un-noticable, and most players wouldn't see it. But as a designer, I notice these things, and see it as a poor effort.

The Fitting Simulation system is... underwhelming.

For reasons I cannot explain, my skills aren't applying to theoretical fits inside the Simulations. This kind of ruins the entire purpose of them.

Edit:
Seems that skills are applying in the Simulation window but not to Show Info windows opened on modules and ammo inside the Simulation window.

Since there are some useful bits of info that the Simulation window and its tooltips don't provide, this information NEEDS to migrate over to the Show Info windows like for normal fittings or those useful details are lost. For real Theory-Fitting ability, all information needs to be available.

Wiping your old skill queue when logging in as an Alpha was kinda blindsiding, hadn't bothered with an Evemon plan since the new extended queue and do I feel stupid right now Smile Someway to maintain the queue but automagically skip Omega skills would have been lovely.

An obvious way around this would be to create a Brand New Account and just play it through the NPE = P

First question that pops up - How do I turn off that horrible yellow Omega popup.

Someone at CCP has got to be having a great laugh at our expense over that at every login.

I wonder if it wouldn't make an amazing lot of sense to just leave Omega accounts alone (no ugly annoying pointless popups at login) and have a pretty popup if your not paying to play.
Damn I pay premium for my accounts, that should include no unnecessary popups. If I were to run Alpha accounts I would expect popups as a reminder, there is a better way to play.

Second - Is there an option to change the childish voice over either back to what it was or anything else..
Seriously, that voice is just BAD..
The tone of voice for "Warp dive active", sounds like a stoned prostitute propositioning a mug in a B grade movie. (If it were to say - $20 for a blow job - you'd have a winner)
"Docking permission requested" - Is that what it is really saying, it's pretty garbled so I want to make sure.

Prompts like this should be clear and concise in a tone that is easy to listen to and understand - Current voice, is far from either.


Oh and I see we are back to 30 second black screens while undocking - Awesome.

Can't see my portraits (not to say how bad was the idea to remove our posed portraits from there) in character sheet on any accounts. I saw a button here on some screenshots, but I haven't.

Skill queue menu requires fix!

It is a lot of information on a small window. Making it confusing and messy and harder to see our information.
If you want to keep this small icons new presentation at least put the skill queue on a separated window on the side like it was before so we can have a clear view of what is going on.

You should only have to do it once per account so long as you consistently use the same PC.

Really, 2FA is for your own good. I should have started using it ages ago.

All Ascension Rewards will be release in a later patch at the end of the month.

Any info on whether or not we'll still receive the rewards if an account lapses before then, but was otherwise subbed the entire period? Most of my accounts are going to end up dropping towards the end of the month as I gear up for my usual Thanksgiving through New Year's hiatus.



My understanding is that the rewards are for everyone who met the time frame which ends today. So if you lapse after downtime tomorrow, you should be good. I will try and get an official word on that.



Spoke to CCP, Official word is if your account lapses tomorrow or later you will still get the rewards.

Having it as an option is fine. Being able to choose to NOT use it is fine. Several of us have more accounts than we'd like to admit, and many different emails associated with them. Having it forced down your throat is complete BS, especially when it's either not sending emails consistently OR you don't remember what email that account is associated with. Telling people they can't smoke is for they're own good too, but it's their choice whether they want to or not, as long as their not hurting other people.

I'm having the same issue with a hotmail account. even whitelisted eveonline@service.ccpgames.com to try and eliminate the spam filter.

Not sure if intentional or has been mentioned already, but in the new ship fitting window you only get detailed info about your drones if you are in simulation mode. So if I want to know the modified optimal range, for example, I have to switch to simulation mode, otherwise just the drone bay window pops up.

I see people complaining about the portrait in the character sheet, but my portrait isn't there, all I have is the thumbnail in the sidebar, I liked having my portrait in the character sheet. any idea how to get it to show up?
