Please Advice.

I'm getting this too. And opening via the exefile is showing "Unable to connect to tranquility.servers.eveonline.com port 26000".

Ah, would have been too easy.

If you go to Settings->Shared Cache Settings and select the 'Show in Explorer Menu', you will get the folder where the resources and binaries are located. Delete the server folders (i.e., tq, sisi, duality). Restart the launcher. The launcher will download these folders again, and hopefully fix the issue.

Do not delete the ResFiles folder unless you want to re-download all of the resources.

Hello,

I did it. After launcher restart, I'm able to run 'Verify' on shared cache window... But currently client don't start anymore :). LogLite has only 1 line with message: error: Uncaught TypeError: n.indexOf is not a function 1 https://launcher.eveonline.com/1.986/bundles/jquery00a8.js?v=g9qT4oLPzXnQsCqtx-I2HfL5eKZBbonImH1lkTY6IRc1

Exact same message showing in LogLite window -

error: Uncaught TypeError: n.indexOf is not a function 1 https://launcher.eveonline.com/1.986/bundles/jquery00a8.js?v=g9qT4oLPzXnQsCqtx-I2HfL5eKZBbonImH1lkTY6IRc1

Launcher doesn't start the game.

The thin blue bar under the name of the selected account seems flashing, but then it stops and nothing happens. Game is starting with the exefile.exe, but in that case all of my settings are gone.

Already deleted the server folders, verified the files, restarted the client and the PC, but no success ast all. Launcher does nothing.

Same problem. I am on Mac. Cleared cache and restarted computer and still have the issue. Wine process don't start

Reporting the same issues, even hear my HD spinning up than the play button changes back to a play icon and all gets quiet.

Loglite message:
error: Uncaught TypeError: n.indexOf is not a function 1 https://launcher.eveonline.com/1.986/bundles/jquery00a8.js?v=g9qT4oLPzXnQsCqtx-I2HfL5eKZBbonImH1lkTY6IRc1

Actually, I just tried using the old launcher and that worked fine :) I'm in!

Hopefully issues with new launcher can be resolved soon!

Any idea when you will fix the issue over being unable to interrupt the long, tedious animation of your ship crawling towards its docking spot in the ships hanger view ?

Its REALLY ferking annoying.

Whose bright idea was that anyway ?

CCP Philosophy ==>>

  1. If it works, break it. If it’s broken, leave it and break something else.

  2. Ignore all Forum comments that raise issues and concerns about our "features", and bring said "features" in anyway.

Having issues as well with logging in.

After entering my account info, I hit play and the client didnt load.

NOTE: A FIX HAS BEEN FOUND:

In the top right corner of the launcher, there is a Recycle insignia underneath the minimize button that says "An update is available" or some rubbish.

Click it. and it fixes your outdated launcher number.

Hello, I have a same trouble - cannot login to EVE. The same thing like others:

When I click the "Play" Icon, it changes to the "Square" Icon and the "Blue Light" starts moving underneath the account name - As it would normally.

But after a few seconds it stops loading and nothing changes - The game is still not opening.

I tried Verify files and delete TQ folder.

Is there a way to open the game but not through the launcher? I know that used to be possible in the past somehow....

Fix has been deployed in GUI 1.988. Please restart launcher or press update icon at the top-right of your launcher window to apply.

Regarding issues with launching the client:

In the lower right corner of the launcher, you should see version numbers for the launcher:
Launcher: 1045952.1988

If the last for digits are not 1988, you should either restart the launcher, or go to the little e-dropdown in the top right corner and select 'Refresh'. That should get you up the the latest version and fix the issue.

Although it should not generally be needed, have you restarted your launcher since downtime?

Had the same problem as Tempest Harris. after I did what CCP Maxwell wrote it is working again.
