Upwell-branded apparel; What happened with these rewards then?

These things were supposed to be a reward for all contributing players from the build the citadels event. The 5 winners of the BPs got announced back in Feb but I have seen nothing about the Upwell clothing we were supposed to get.

What happened?

Probably the same thing that happened with the blueprints: they never got handed out.

Lets hope we get them during the Citadel expansion. Or not, who cares.

Supposedly; there are seemingly other balconies across the way. And let's not forget that capsuleers would not be the only occupants of stations. So just don't do anything naughty out on the landing and you should be fine, though I might worry about the fact that the front door never closes when you inside your quarters. Then again, some people get off on the chance somebody might be watching anyways. Crazy world...

What happend to the Upwell branded clothing we were promised?

In the dev-post you guys said that this would be the clothing we were going to get, but when I now sign up for a subscription of three months I also get the same Upwell branded coats.

If everyone that handed in a Research Component gets all the above Upwell clothing, then the Upwell coats are just useless right? What happend?

So Citadel expansion was yesterday, I noticed some upwell clothes are now on the market, any news on when we going to get the apparel for contracting those research components a while back?

Patch notes say the new glasses are on the NES but I am not finding them and yet other characters seem to have them somehow. What's going on?

There are special steps you must take on the NES.

1) Go to the NES console,
2) Select the input function to the appropriate selection,
3) On the home screen, type this in:

Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, A, B, A, B, Select, Start.

Continue with the loadup. Once your window closes, you should have x30 of them waiting for you.

Having said that...

When you run contests like this and promise your players unique in-game items, and then turn around and give (some of) those same in-game items to anyone who happens to (re)subscribe to EvE... it really cheapens the uniqueness and (perceived) value of the items, and makes your players question whether CCP cares about rewarding players who put in effort in the game, or rewarding players who give you IRL money. Seems to me you favor IRL money rewards over player activity.

Just my 2 cents... make of it what you will.

There was something something "will be distributed before the end of May".
It's CCP. They never make it on time. Just like every CCP stream is ALWAYS at least 15 minutes late.
