Having said that...

When you run contests like this and promise your players unique in-game items, and then turn around and give (some of) those same in-game items to anyone who happens to (re)subscribe to EvE... it really cheapens the uniqueness and (perceived) value of the items, and makes your players question whether CCP cares about rewarding players who put in effort in the game, or rewarding players who give you IRL money. Seems to me you favor IRL money rewards over player activity.

Just my 2 cents... make of it what you will.

kinda feel the same when they throw around the pirate jackets for doing the little carebear events, wont be long before the angel jackets will be worn by dozens of random players, takes away the uniqueness
