Our daily fleets are getting bigger every time. It's harder to stay unnoticed. Went to RvB HQ, all stayed docked, went to PIRAT HQ, all docked up. We might want to split the fleet in smaller groups or provoke more nullbear fleets to come to highsec. Roll

Good to see Marmites adapt. Am looking at https://zkillboard.com/alliance/1680888152/kills/, right bottom (Top Locations) and I mainly see gates at the top locations (+station Rens). Still getting good kills.

Did someone rage kick 3 corps after losing a Legion and his shiny pod ? Nehhh.... Twisted

We probably won 8 out of 10 fights against null fleets coming to HS. Avoided 2, never lost.... Blink We have the advantage of being underestimated. Never underestimate your enemies...... not even if they are miners or other industrials.

Keep in mind, lots of so-called Hisec mercs have Nulsec mains or alts, or have Nulsec/Lowsec experience.

Like Tora says, never underestimate the opposition. Smile

Those nullbears popping up in highsec are usually the ones we have the most fun killing. ;)

I find it amusing you would say something like this. If you look at every null entities track record in fighting in highsec, I think you will see that they cant really do ****. Castabouts came up from null to fight us.... got their **** pushed in, CO2 came up to fight us, got their **** pushed in (they actually had enough they should have whelped us, but they are terribad)... Gewnz cant manage a fleet op outside of tidi (game speeds too fast, brain speeds too slow) so no. I dont think a null entity will win a fight against Marmites for the foreseeable future.

I love you guys, really, but that's just not the full reality. When I was in BL, we got decced every other week by one merc corp or another. The reason why null groups get "beat" is that they rarely even trouble themselves to fly, oh, 50 fckin jumps just to fight, when in all honesty the majority of war targets would just dock up. And who could blame them?? If we had gone, we would have been flying around 150 tengus with logistics. It's not the same fight. Highsec engagements don't get that large, and no matter the individual skill of the mercs involved, there isn't a way to win that.

It's very true lots of the highsec guys are great pilots, but let's not count catching the few guys on supply runs, or the small gang that comes down to fight you for the lols as the sacking of Troy, shall we?

its a pity it can only be a one way comparison, not like any mercbear fleets would goto lowsec let alone null.

theres a large difference between sitting on the jita undock/pipe systems farming solo players from null with triple sebo'd ships, than a properly formed fleet fight.

O thy classic fight of null to high,

Of course a Nullsec corp could totally welp Marmite, or any other Mercbear (Diggin the term) dude and dudette out there. However Convincing 150+ Pilots to make a trip to Highsec and try to fight a merc corp would be pointless. It's such a large fleet it would instantly be noticed and avoided. Why would you willingly throw 30+ Dudes into a meat grinder?

It would be pointless.

Also Mercs go into Lowsec all the time, Nullsec not so much as most of us rock very shiny pods. Again it would be a near pointless unless your intent is to lose that pod in a beautiful firey death. So again whatever. And a lot of Merc have alts in other area's of EVE, WH Lowsec Nullsec, Like many EVE players with multiple accounts.

And they're are a ton of Highly skilled Mercs out there. Yeah some quad sebo a Gnosis and sit on a gate not expect someone to shoot back. That comes with the Alliance sadly. But Completely disregarding decent to truly good pilots just because they are in highsec is stupid and likely, Just like the quad Sebo'ed Gnosis who doesn't expect to fight, will take a Nullbear by surprise when suddenly his Loki is getting destroyed by a Dual XL-ASB Cyclone.

SO

Obviously, saying anything on the matter is trollish and a waste of time because. Like Really. Come on.

I get ppl have alts.

hi-sec mercs are doing darwins work on null allainces, multiple warning mails, the wardec notices themselves, but still the nullbear alt still pops into jita to fit out / sell his item.

The funny thing is, most of the ones dying to that are the same ones not in any intel channels in there 3b faction fit tengu dying to garmur in a plex.

Think its easy to kill nullbears in HS? its easier in null, only the same risk of loss applies to you which is why i have 0 respect for merc corps that don't leave HS.

mercs goto lowsec all the time? who and im not talking "my alt" either? link a recent battle from any of the currently listed mercbear corps here Vs an actual enemy fleet that they were paid to take down, i hope you can.

We aren't talking about killing lone people here Leto these entities have literally put up proper fleets and come to highsec to 'prove a point' and gotten their faces smashed or been avoided cause honestly who is going to have the numbers in highsec for 50 man t3 fleets at the drop of a hat Blink. That said they lose because they don't appreciate the mechanics at play in Highsec. It's not Lowsec or Nullsec...
