Yup. Should be wicked shield damage at the very least to the bumper, and damage as well to the bumped minus a % resist.

CCP is looking to Shepard the New Players, and not have them discouraged by Code or their ILk.

However they would be better ahead having "Daycare constellations" where concord is really heavy handed to griefers instead nerfing all of high sec.

Code provides a pretty good service of punishing the afk and the auto pilots. This is a good thing.

All of their other acts of malice are so easily avoided, it's really only the foolish or the lazy that makes them relevant at all.

I don't really plan on going into this thread, since as usual it is the wrong decision and CCP is wrecking the sandbox in order to coddle the weak...

But hearing HTFU from anyone in MoA is hilarious. You lot poured out more tears than I have ever seen before when they finally took the Entosis away from interceptors.

Anyone with your alliance tag should never use the term HTFU.

I don't think this is fair. I would expect CCP to nerf innovation when that innovation is effectively changing game design. In this instance, hyperdunking was a very clever innovation but was certainly not an intended direction.

Having said that, I am not convinced that making highsec safer is the best decision. But changing such fundamental balance should always be a deliberate game design choice rather than being left up to the vagaries of poor feature design.

Guys. Doesn't this totally nerf gate ganking too?
I have a 2-3 shot thrashe shuttle/r pod gank alt and a thorax t1 indy gank alt.

After i gank i need to board another ship like noobship and then get concord to leave the gate you just ganked and then pull them to the station.

Else next time ANYONE tries to gank at the gate they get insta concordered cuz they are still on grid and remain there for hours.

So less you are using alpha tornadoes guess if you need to gank at gate.
Sit in shame for 15mins in station.
Undock in noobship, pull concord to station from gate.
Sit in ahame another 15mins.
THEN gank again?

Effectively DOUBLING the time between gate ganks for vexors/thoraxes???

Please gankers give me hope/way to bypass this

New players don't fly Freighters. This has nothing to do with new players.

How can anyone NOT see hyperdunking as an exploit?

I'm all for a good gank, where you have to measure up your target, figure out what you need in terms of DPS, get the right ship and friends if need be, warp to target, and BAM! Dead.

Hyperdunking is basically, "Duh, I don't have enough to gank this target. I need to figure out a new way to do it without have to rely or interact with other people." Exploits game mechanics so only 3 toons are needed, uses alts to bump and seed ships, one ship does all the damage and takes the GCC. Seriously, it's an MMO; gang up with other people and take down the whales.

Ganking the big targets isn't supposed to be a solo activity, but that is what hyperdunking makes it into.

Exploit game mechanics = CCP overreaction.

That would be funny. Freighter killed by a group of freighters bumping it till death.

Also, tbh, Hyperdunking is one of those things I don't really care if the remove it. Get some people together to gank, and not killing a freighter for hours.

It doesn't say you can't undock while criminal.

It doesn't say you can't undock while criminal.

You cant board that ship to undock in for 15mins though. Then need to go GCC to oull them away which means you cant board your 2nd thorax for another 15mins.


And you cant use alt cuz thats not YOUR concord spawn. YOUR concord spawn is waiting at gate.

I guess you could just switch gates/ like gank at an in gate then next gank at the out gate into next system while your spawn is still at the first gate.

I also think they spawn from a constalation correct? So maybe just gank next system over 2nd time? That may be wromg though but the switch gate think may work.
