It is up to the players of any team to consider if they should devote their months of effort toward a team captain who may lead them to victory but do so illegally, forfeiting the efforts of the whole team (and in some cases, the whole alliance who bankrolls the effort)....or whether they should instead devote their efforts to a team and captain who won't waste all that effort and ISK of the whole team.

In the end, it is up to team members to demand their captains aren't cheating bastards. if their captains and other team members aren't prepared to play honestly right up until the end, then leave that alliance and team and captain and reform elsewhere for a push at AT.

Where is Bad Bobby in this thread? He was all up in the others.

As others have said, unfortunate for the line members who got screwed over by leadership. In Kadesh's FHC thread he says he's space rich. Perhaps he should have some balls and pony up some money to get his line members out of negative wallets. Would be a good gesture for whatever its worth to them.

We'll rank that group similarly to how we rank the other elimination groups to work out seeding order and take the top two in order.

Any reason why Kadesh's admission to having a bunch of hacks for info gathering, etc... are still treated as just the captains? Or will there be an investigation into that?

Cause holy crap, what he dropped on fail-heap is a pretty big bomb of cheating that goes a lot deeper than just some collusion. I don't really feel safe in the face of that for future tournaments.

2nd.

Quick question about the ranking CCP Logibro, how is 3rd and 4th place prizes split 50/50, yet not 1st and 2nd? Exodus only placed where we did because we lost to a DQed team earlier. We never got to face PL. We were also technically undefeated. Just sayin'.

The saddest thing about all this is that they probably could have won anyways, and negative wallets are probably going to make some people quit that had nothing to do with all this.

Congrats to Tuskers and Nulli that are now in the prize pool.

Damn that's a fair question.

The obvious/easy solution is to do what they have done and just let all the results stand, remove the disqualified teams from the final results and then bump everyone up as appropriate. This doesn't account for all the bracket changes that would occur if the disqualified team had not played, so in the end the results aren't conclusive.

To me this means PL get the win, but that the results are not definitive. If I was you I'd happily be claiming to be a 'disputed but inconclusive equal 1st ATXIII team' or some **** like that.


I guess CCP just has to do the best job they can.

As Captain of a team that finished in the top 32, I'd be very interested in knowing if 2 teams will be bumped up to top 16 and therefore become seeded for next year's competition.

Damn it, PL wins again ! :P

Nice work swiftly resolving this issue CCP, it'll be interesting to see what changes are made to the AT rules to prevent this from happening again.
