Fix the reward system for mining missions. Happy miners can mean cheaper ships and by extension cheaper pvp for everybody. Allow solo players to make ~100 mil per hour in mining missions. Oh wait, this eve online and ccp we are dealing with. That'll never happen.

Miners mining minerals that are useless for anything but said mission will do nothing to lower prices.

Have you not noticed that in the upper left had corner there is something that says agent missions? In which there is an option to warp to the mission as well as dock. Not to mention there is the same option in the right click menu, that has been there at least as long as you have been around...

So there was never a need to open the agent window unless you forgot what your objective was.
We could play this game all day. There are quite possibly too many reasons to name; who knows why someone may want to keep opening the mission window. They forgot the objective, the mission objective is not clear, they do multiple missions at the same time, so keeping it all organized can be a hassle. Game server can often lose connection to people's computers or other way around too. Not saying anyone is perfect, but being able to efficiently run missions (without the mission window cluttering the screen) should be the goal here.

The journal needs some work too; it blinks way too often and after Journal > Agents > Missions & read details for your active mission... the link is missing for that agent's location.

You mentioned the agent thing at the top left. I have never used it so no idea if or how it works. But after looking at it, appears to me ccp just added that so they would not have to try to fix the Journal's issues.

:edit: There seems to be no possible way to right-click that agent thing and complete a mission. The player must always open a conversation with the agent before the mission can be completed, which seems inane.

Make it simple and straightforward. The agent thing does not actually fix any of the journal issues, but only reduces by one the number of steps required to open the mission window. And you are still required to open the mission window in order to complete the mission.

No idea what you were trying to mean here. I said nothing about mining minerals from mining missions. Those fake minerals in mining missions are exclusively mission-oriented items and otherwise useless. That is not what I was referring to when I said 'mining mission rewards are crappy'. The rewards are isk and loyalty points (LP); the amount of isk and LP obtained from mining missions is quite low. There is nothing else, unless you happen to have some ships spawn and you kill them for a little bit more isk.

Essentially, you sound like you have no idea how mining missions work and maybe have never done a level 4 mining mission. My point still stands: allow solo players to make 100 mil isk per hour doing mining missions.

You are aware that you cannot put fixed value ?
If you can make 100mil /h doing higsec mining missions, then trust me , you will not be able to buy the same amount of stuff for this 100mil after a while.
For me , we need to reduce the isk payout on every thing possible and compensate this by increased LP payout or some other stuff.
Let say we rly get meta stuff BPC as additional benefit.

Does not matter what the value ends up being. As a comparison, security missions, escalations, and maybe other combat sites in wh and nul allow much more income. Some reasons for this is risk/potential for ship lost is potentially higher. Faction loot is the random factor here. Barring escalations boss' loot (overseer personal effects; normally a huge isk payout), bounty prizes for killing npc ships is often much more than the combined values of Agent Mission Reward and Agent Mission Time Bonus Reward. On top of bounty prizes, you throw in loot and salvage with the randomness of faction modules or bpc.

The value of running a level 4 mission does not across the board equate. Security missions probably get similar LP and Agent Mission Reward/Time Bonus Rewards to equivalent mining mission, if that is even possible. The extras are what make security missions (and almost any other combat variation of profession) so much more isk-efficient compared to mining missions. Time spent training skill points for each profession should essentially be equal, otherwise the sand in the sandbox ends up piled up in one corner.

Im eager for new explosions.

Also, i love thebackground radio traffic you gear when near stationz.

Would love love love faint wilhelm screams when you kill npc ships. Occassional ones anyway.

A faint "AIEEEEEEEEE" as the rat goes poof in the distance would make things feel more immersive.

Two words: Midshipman Insignia.
Because right now, the only way to make sense of it is hauling loads of them in the middle of nowhere for... wow, whole 4 500 Isks per damned thing.
I think that if someone wants to haul garbage, he would make use of drug factory, no?

Balance the missions - the difficulty from level 3 to 4 is significant, yet 1, 2 and 3 are barely discernible.

You are correct, some professions are way out of alignment with most the others. I seriously doubt CCP gives two hoots about it, because they designed it that way.

Just a few things I would add, they are:
1. To add an option, players choice, to receive goods or ISK as a bonus reward. The items could be in the form of a tag or goods of value instead of just an ISK amount.

2. Add a reason to loot the wrecks in the missions. Currently there is no real reason to do anything other than salvage the site.

3. Have the ability to have an escalation through an alternative agent(think story line agent) by what you find or pick up through looting the wrecks in standard missions.

4. Currently missions are predictable in what occurs and what will happen. How about add some element of surprise to the mission so the mission runner has a surprise once in awhile.

5. Instead of the current lvl 1-5, change the mission lvls to 1-10. Where lvl1-2 would be intro to the old lvl1 and 2 would be adv lvl 1 missions all the way up too lvl 10 or Adv lvl 5 missions.

6. Have the option to do lvl 5 missions in Hi-Sec. Note the rewards would need to be greatly reduced (rewards around base lvl 4 would be fair) to prevent farming. Also increase the adv lvl 5 rewards(low and Null sec only missions) and or add items that can only be picked up in these mission through loot drops.

7. NPC should try and use PvP-like tactics than the usual rush to death tactic that they currently employ.

8. In each mission there should be less targets/ eneamies but these targets will do more damage indiviually.

Agent Finder

Have it display more than 6 agents at a time.
We should be able to widen the window and have it fill the area, so 9, 12, 15, etc..

Simple, yet valuable.

CCP Affinity, I heard you have a 2 year plan concerning PvE in New Eden.

Could you please share your plan, like your collega CCP Seagull did with Eve Online ?

1. Escalations should lead the player into W-Space

As a final step in an escalation, the player gets a bookmark for a wormhole. Once inside the wormhole the player gets a bookmark for a complex which is the final stage of the escalation. The wormhole, as soon as activated (warped to), acts like a normal wormhole (appears in the scanner probe window, can be scanned down, has a duration, max mass etc.).

2. Escalations should give more variety & follow a certain system

Right now it seems like I get only escalations from "Angel Refuge" ("Angel Red Light District") or from unrated plexes found by probing. Furthermore, why escalates a "Angel Refuge" into a 5/10 and a Forsaken/Hidden Hideaway (seemingly) never?

3. Fix the Drone combat sites

Because they are boring and nobody likes them.

4. Data/Relic containers in DED complexes

It would be nice to see data /relic cans in complexes for additional loot and/or make them part of the mission objectives.

5. Achievement system

Would be pretty cool, for missions and DED complexes. Maybe SP rewards?

6. SoE *cough* Epic *cough* Arc

Seriously? Have you ever played Homeworld? Homeworld was published more than ten years ago (16 years?) and it was done without a single tiny text pop-up! I always saw EVE as some sort of legacy/descendant (Homeworld Online) to one of the most epic space games that has ever been created by human hand. Sure, EVE is a sandbox MMO game and that should stay that way, but nobody dislikes a well-written and well-narrated story.

- For god's sake add some voice overs for friends, foes and Aura!
- Make a epic render video for every chapter
- Come up with a good story with ups and downs and epic story twists

Now you just have to combine the epic narrative with subtle education and you have the perfect tool to introduce, bind and educate a new player!

I'd like the ability to accept (offered) missions remotely. (I read a mission, got my ship ready, set off to the destination system, aaaaand realized I had forgotten to accept it.). Small thing.

Also better loot and salvage, I feel they've been nerfed a lot. Of course, it's probably also because it's much easier nowadays thanks to MTU's.

this is for the OCD in me: I’ve a bunch of random loyalty points that are A: too small to get anything with and B: with NPC corps that I may not do anything with again. Let us either delete or convert LP to isk or something. It doesn’t have to even be much even 1isk per LP or something just so I don’t have a long list of NPC corp LP that I cannot/will not use. Or if not wanting to give anything for them at least allow us

Another suggestion, although I am sure it will be a resounding no is make MTUs salvage as well as loot.

RE Pirate missions.
It is a real shame that after having run empire missions for a while, there is no practical way to switch to pirate missions.
They would provide a whole refresh to the idea of PVE for those willing to try something exciting for a while, and keep people playing.

Problems.
1. with good empire standings built over a long period. Pirates will Hate you, with no practical way to recover from that.
2. If months are spent grinding to attempt to bring that to a usable level, then your empire standings are destroyed.
3. this makes it more of a permanent career change, somewhat discouraging.

Answer. make diplomacy skill Vastly more effective, and once +5 to a faction is achieved, let it lock in.
