I seriously doubt that the game will 'break' without miners. A well engineered game does not require all aspects of game-play to be performed for the game to function properly. Sure miners keep things cheaper, but if every miner disappeared today there would still be minerals available for manufacture of new items. My Opinion as a Miner.

If the goal is to make everything more expensive, then yes. However, correct me if I'm wrong but generally the goal of Hulkageddon is to get easy kills for the lulz.

No, the goal of Hulkageddon is to teach complacent people that hisec isn't safe Bear

As if those of us living in Highsec didn't already know it's not 100% safe! We all know that getting ganked daily doing our normal stuff is a risk we take.

Come down off your pedestals of thinking that we believe we are safe as we have known for a long time now that it's not safe. is it a bit safer yes 100% no.

Also if you think you can scare all High sec players into lowsec then your are dillusional.

Bottom line Hulkageddon is nothing more than a competition to grief those that don't play the game the way you all see fit. (And to raise the prices on the Exhumers and minerals for your own personal gain.)

No one is trying to force you to do anything. I am just pointing out the obvious. the fact that you failed to argue the point only proves that what I said was true.

The thing is Rat even if that was true, which it isnt, none of us give a **** anyway. Im going to be doing it because its fun and a change from what I do normally and I honestly dont give a fetid monkies ballsack what the miners I will be ganking decide to do after the fact. The fun thing is you're doing the exact same thing you accuse us of by getting all high and mighty about our reasons, must be fun beng a hypocrite because I see way too many of them on the carebear side.

Well engineered ?

Why do I keep slamming into POCO's all of a sudden ?

BTW, the game requires materials from miners to function properly. THAT is the WELL engineered part of it.

Just Mine (Grav Sites) and Mission for a few weeks.

My income usually goes UP during H'geddon.

It's REALLY no big deal.

mining is probably the slowest and most boring way to get minerals.

Perhaps lowsec is just Boring, and some excitement is terrorizing highsec?

What kind of game would it be if there were ONLY miners and mission runners, if these war fleets that blot out the stars did not exist, hmmm, I wonder...

EDIT:
Actually, I see this as an opportunity to improve my character. I am gonna mothball my fleet for Jan, Feb, and March, so I can skill up on the market side of the game. I have already started to buy minerals, and am gonna make at least another billion from this hulkisissydom business when I sell everything at the highest price. And who can get bored with the game when I am gonna play in a way that essentially makes it a whole new game for me. And I figure that my name is now near the top of a lot of peoples hunting list, aint it great to be well known?

Actually I am not doing the same thing I accuse you Hulkageddon particpants of at all. I came on and replied to a post stating an Opinion. how you take that opinion is wrong. I wouldn't know what a hypocrite feals like as I din't accuse anyone of something that I am doing. I am not out suicide ganking peoples ships for LULz, I am not out there ganking peoples ships to raise the market prices so before you go throw names besure to carefully read the post. (or ask nicely and I might buy you a reading corse)

Your logic only works if we cared about where minerals come from. We don't.

Nice cop out.

How so? You honestly think we care whether the minerals that we build our ships with come from bots, miners or mission runners? I'd love to hear your reasoning...

Except this is what you signed up for when you paid your game sub. Shooting Hulks is as legitimate game play as shooting rocks and you can't label it as griefing, or at least eula says so, though I know you do because of your personal bias.

Not griefing just normal pewpew.

So when is this Unholy event going to start. Am I going to atleast get to fly my Hulk a couple days beore it starts or is this just a troll to get tears.

I try to be nice and mind my business just shooting lasers at rocks. There is just way too many asshats in New Eden for that to happen.

Sometimes it can be absolutely hilarious given what you just witnessed. I even heard today two people in Rifters tried to gank a Hulk.

Sir, am I to understand that you are openly, wantonly, and with malice aforethought, speaking ill of the most esteemed Rifter-class Minmatar space frigate?
