Command centers are as important to PI as the PI goods themselves, and considering how integral to the planetary colonies they are, it would be nice to be able to stash them in the PI goods cargohold, as well, to facilitate transport.

This isn't really necessary since you can launch then from anywhere in space, and your first trip you won't really be needing to haul any PI mats. I just use a nereus or an iteron in my POS

I would like salvage drones to each target separate wreck when grouping is turned off.
I don't need all the drones salvaging 1 wreck, as it doesn't seem to speed things up.

Concider looking back at the wormhole changes, i dont know if a roll back there is as straight forward as "remove new code" but it might be worth rolling back a change everyone living in wormholes hates/hated...

rolling holes wasnt done to escape pvp but to find SOMETHING TO DO...

1. Right click in space to warp to expeditions and add the option to warp squad/fleet to an expedition when right-clicking from the Journal. I do these with my friends, and since this is an MMO anything that makes traveling around with my friends easier would be productive...

2. Let squad/fleet members access and use Mobile Depot's and Mobile Tractor Units or give one of the haulers the ability to act as a Mobile Depot for fleet members. Carrying more than one fit and a Depot isn't ideal when you and your friends want to fly around New Eden and carry the loots we find too!

3. One of my friends suggested this when he started playing, his idea was... When you click on a High, Mid, or Low slot from the fitting window, a drop down appears below the slot with all the available modules that can be fit in that slot, from all the available hangers, cargo bays, and containers you have access to.

This drop down could be organized and customized, and possibly custom profiles could be made for specific ships, making fitting easier and quicker. Also, eliminating some of the extra windows you usually have open while fitting. No more drag and drop, just click and fit. This would be especially useful for refitting in space, where you don't want all these extra windows covering your overview or d-scan (I have a 720p monitor, space is precious for me).

(1) Option to activate already present EVE client on Steam: game-time stats etc would be nice to have for EVE;
(2) There's a conflict between the strategic logistics role (done by JFs and carriers) for corps and alliances and the formal name of repair ship class. Would be nice to have the latter renamed to something else;
(3) Renaming categories so that they are more logically arranged. In a screenshot here https://i.imgur.com/s6t22tV.png the cargo containers are arranged below some of the items, which is arguably not the most optimal sorting, so maybe they could be renamed to something that would sort them at the top? Also, having "drone, combat" instead of "combat drone" would also sort drones logically, as all drones would be sorted together (same goes for other items).

Wanted: Ability to stop training on not-logged-in alt.

Currently if I'm logged into char A and char B is training, if I want to train on char A I have to log out, log into B, stop training, log out, log back into A, and start training.

It would save a lot of work if instead there was a choice in the "You're already training on another char do you want to activate multiple char training"-window to stop training on the other char.

It would be even more awesome if after the queue on A is finished, training was restarted on B (though that seems like a bigger thing).

Suggestion: Allow user to remove items from autocompletion lists
Keywords: UI, autocomplete, autocompletion, text field

I have a lot of mistyped and otherwise unwanted entries in my autocompletion lists - you know, the dropdowns you get in text fields which pop up automatically or by pressing the down key. In Windows you just press delete on the highlighted entry and it's gone from the autocompletion list. Can we please have this functionality in EVE's UI?

I'm irritated by seeing my typos and stuff I only ever wanted to lookup once. Makes autocompletion annoying instead of the useful feature it should be.

Came here, searched, and found this post in this thread asking for exactly what I wanted to ask for.

YES! THIS!

Sort out the Masteries. Most of them are totally useless and new players waste days or weeks training for skills that have no effect at all on the ship performance.

Case in point: Mining Barge and Exhumer mastery demanding Gas Cloud harvesting....they can't even fit gas cloud harvesters!

Many, many other examples exist.

little thing request: consume drugs with double click.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

I notice that a lot of suggestions often get responses like: "We don't need that" or "You can already to a slightly different version of what you are asking by doing [This Procedure A]"

It seems to me that these responses are counter to the spirit of the thread and to the suggestions in general.
Clearly not all the suggestions will be used, but more so - just because it is able to be done one way now, doesn't mean it can't be done better or more optimally another way (usually the way that is suggested).
Also - "we don't do it that way now" isn't really the best response to a suggestion. It really just says (to me, anyways) - "I don't want to have to learn how to do it a different way."
...just sayin' :)

Also- I would like to throw this suggestion in the ring (again):

A hotkey for the D-Scan. (No, not the D-Scan Window - -- we have one for that)
I mean a hotkey to activate the D-Scan function itself.
Example: Im ratting, flying, fighting, etc.. and I would like to be able to press ALT-D (just for example - not sure if this hotkey is already used somewhere) and have the D-Scan window refresh with a fresh scan.
This would not count as automating the D-Scan as so many people seem to not like that idea, and I agree, it should be manual.
Perhaps to prevent automating the hotkey - there can be a timer that prevents the hotkey from being used more than a certain number of times within a given timeframe? (e.g. - hotkey once every 10-15 seconds)
Clearly this use of D-Scan would be more useful for defensive purposes than for offensive purposes, but D-Scan can be used for both, right? ;)

Just my 0.02 ISK :)

I agree with you on the "We don't need that" responses. The hints on (slightly different) stategies to achieve a proposed functionality, however, often are made because some players may be unaware of a method that already exists in the game. Especially when the little thing suggestion makes no mention of said method.

To provide an example that matches your dScan activation shortcut (something I'd like to see as well): You are aware that you can set the keyboard focus to one of the input fields (scan range in km or AU) and do a dScan by simply hitting the enter key?
This functionality will certainly fail anytime to set keyboard focus on something else (chat, overview, notes, ...)

I was aware of that - it doesn't work for me however precisely for the reason you mentioned - I am often using the chat, notes and other things that take keyboard focus from the D-Scan window. And yes, I see your point about users pointing out existing functionality to people who might not be aware of it. the spirit of some posts is obviously to be helpful in that way. In other posts it comes across as obviously not.. that. lol.

A few things for fleet invitations, chat invitations and duel invitations:

Suggestion: Show a countdown timer on fleet invitations just like on duel invitations since they do in fact expire and automatically close invitation windows when or shortly after the invitation has expired.
Suggestion: On all forms of invitation, add a "dismiss" button which closes the window and lets the invitation time out as if you had left it open (closing the window via the close button declines the invitation immediately, sending a notification which may be undesirable).
Suggestion: Make the pilot name in invitations into a clickable info link.
Suggestion: Remove the silly fleet awoxing text from fleet invitations, it just confuses people more.

Hopefully just a small change? When you are dividing stacks of items. An option for moving per unit, and an option for volume. Instead of having to find an items volume, then dividing the volume etc etc.

It's a little thing for those of us with OCD, can we get the Mining Frigate and Mining Barge skills prefixed with their faction so that all Tech 1 ORE ship skills will be grouped together like the racial ship skills. They'd become the "ORE Mining Frigate" and "ORE Mining Barge" skills. Slightly dumb, yes, but us OCDers have issues like this. Big smile

Little interface QoL improvement:

add a 'Your next fatigue timer will be xx:xx:xx' under the next jump timer notification in the fatigue icon tooltip.
