Caldari T3 Destroyer next?

Perharps this is just what New Eden needs, a pocket sized Scorpion. Getting primaried wouldn't hurt that much either, 'cause quicker to leg it.

All posts and mails screencapped and time stamped, including out of EVE, you will not reverse on me.

Might come in handy!

I doubt that because the other T3 did not receive a bonus on their E-War racial bonuses.

My guess would be a missile boat with some speed bonus on the missiles (like the Garmur or Orthrus) or a bonus on the explosion velocity to make it a snipping monster against frigs.

But I would really like a railgun boat just because I love railgun.

Anyway, I will fly this ship regardless of it's bonuses and I would love a sneak peak at the final design !

CCP wants to break the monotony of the typical ship systems but then they don't. I have to say I like this talk of an ECM destroyer. or Smartbomb. LOLz. Heads will roll and hearts will burst from that one if it were to happen.

Also, mega veldspar asteroids/ice comets as probable large Ore Sites FTW!

The Caldari Tactical Destroyer will probably be a missile boat. I hope. Rockets and Light Missiles galore.

Because the Confessor has energy turrets (primary weapon system for Amarr) and the Svipul has projectile turrets (primary weapon system for Minmatar). So with the primary weapon system for Caldari being missiles, its only logical the destroyer will have missiles. Gallente will probably be a mix of hybrid and drones, or just fully drones.

Once upon a time the Golem had a Raven hull and it looked good. Then it transformed into a plataduck. The end.

I was expecting the Caldari Dessi to come with the next release, but nothing was announced;(

Caldari one will be pale rail sniper.

Gallente will be stupidly overpowered heavy plate capable death machine with drones, utility slots and generous fitting options, gaining ability to chase ceptors with heavy drones in "Sharpshooter" mode, permarunning 10MN MWD in propulsion mode and getting resists both to armor and hull in defence mode.
Offcourse, every user of it will claim that it's "perfectly balanced", that it takes high skills to fly them perfectly and that it's hard to fly since you don't just let the dogs drones out on it.

P.S. And then CCP will look at damage charts of ships. Will see that T3 destroyers made their way to the top. Which actions will they perform?

Oh come on, it's not like they laid out exactly what the bonuses would be for both the Jackdaw and Hecate. I don't even think they gave them names or revealed what they look like.

I was on vacation, tried to catch up... But there is quite a lot of video material to scan through if you are just looking for this bit of information =D And yea was wondering of looks, weapons, release...

I'm just glad it's not a mini-Naga hybrid boat, that would be the last thing we need and would, in my opinion, show clear bias on the part of the Devs/balance team

It will almost definitely be a missile boat since the Confessor and Svipul are gun boats and Gallente do not fit missiles. I cannot imagine them leaving out missiles entirely from the D3 lineup.

edit - Ah, they did announce the stats.

Hmm gallente one will have a massive tank and the caldari one is horribly weak and missiles tend to suck..I had hopes for it being a rail boat but seems ccp loves for caldari to suck.

Just level Gallente Destroyers to 5 and use that one. Only takes about a week of training.

All you need to do is fit a Co-Processor in half of your low slots and you'll be fine, just like a Corax or Flycatcher. And by fine I mean a novelty.
