This is one of the most egregious examples of power creep I have ever seen. I honestly do not know how CCP keeps getting away with such obvious, apparent power creep, where some things are simply direct improvements over others. It is simply unfair to those of us who own T2 destroyers that the T3 destroyers look so much better.

Gallente one looks quee-r. But it's Gallente. Smile Caldari is the coolest of them all - some sort of terran satellite/deep space probe. Would even train the dreadful train missiles to fly one. Cool

Funny thing is, I just recently starting playing Black Flag again just because the naval warfare part of it is a unique sort of fun.

Also, my two only questions are (yes, I'm gonna be "that guy") A. is the Jackdaw missile or gun boat and B. does the Hecate have drones or is it all gun?

Jackdaw is a missile boat, Hecate is a gun boat (doubt it will have a drone bay but that's unknown right now)

Jackmaw looks too skinny along the hull. Hopefully its just a bad image perspective.

Once upon a time the Golem had a Raven hull and it looked good. Then it transformed into a plataduck. The end.

Is it just me or does the Hecate kind of look like a McDonald's Happy Meal toy? Not trying to make fun of it, just being honest, and the Jackd(m)aw looks like some Homeworld'ish probe...kind of lanky and skinny, like a bug of sorts.

P.S., since everyone seems to be spelling it differently for some reason...Jackmaw.

After the Amarr and Minmatar versions were released I was fearing that all these ships were going to look like shite. The Jackdaw unfortunately follows the trend but - praise be! - the Hecate is a ship I would be proud to fly.
