If I know there is a higher bid I place my new bid. This is the correct way.

I have sold few and have always waited 24h for reply.I can't just discard bids because they don't reply asap.Most reply 3-4hours after the time has ended.

Sellers are free to accept, reject or amend auctions as they see fit, GM's don't care unless one party accepts and is given isk and then renege's on the sale or transfers a different character. molariq is free to accept the highest offer regardless of time. I bid 8B, good for 12 hours
