... exactly, been telling some of the newer players in my Corp they really need to stop using the data provided ingame as its completely unusable and full of errors, you need to do the real work and check markets in real time only ...

CCP, I understand that "To err is human", but it shouldn't be the Company Motto...

Plex is an investment good and thats what it is actually used for. So no multi there - Gold has only one name as well.
Source: go here minutes 16 to 17

I could agree on the deleting '30 days' though - but the base name is quite original.

love the idea but...

my personal issue is not being able to sell the same item in multi stations.

when selling ammo in every highsec system in a region its a pain to manage.

why cant we multi sell the same thing in multi stations?

Can we meet in the middle and multi sell the same item in different stations or different items in 1 station?

pretty please with exotic dancers on top.

Assume I want to immediately sell a stack of 2 items
There's 1 buy order for 100 mil isk and 1 buy order for 0.01 isk for that item.
I'm pesseing sell and what happens?

- 2 items being sold for 100.000.000.01 isk total
- 1 item being sold for 100 mil, other returning to my hangar
- 1 item being sold for 100 mil while the other going to market as 100mil sell order immediately
- warning message like "the net amount of isk gained while selling these items is 50% lower than the best possible item. Proceed anyway Y/N"
- message like "some items were not sold immediately by the requested price. Should we create sell-orders for the rest of them, sell by any price or return to your hangar?"
- Jita server node crashes

Please clarify

I don't like that idea. That should still be the "job" of the margin-trader. No one would use buy-orders again and none would fulfill.

Eve is not a job. It's a game.

tbh if you don't like the default price ("which the highest buy order in range (that you can fill)") than you should be manually set the sell orders if you can't do that then sell to the highest buyorder (that is the convenient just a game option)... I personally dont want the game to play for me.

1. Does not happen
2. Happens if you set the duration to immediate
3. Happens if you have a duration set to not immediate
4. Does not happen since 1 doesnt happen
5. Happens if your duration is not set to immediate (not the message part)
6. Only during DDoS

Sorry, in the German language you use quotation marks on a word to show, that it doesn't fit precisely in that case. I thought this stylistic device also works in English. My fault.

I have only seen a Youtube Video of this so my experience is somewhat limited but i wanted to add to the discussion as i do a lot of trading.

To be Honest it was not what i was expecting and i wonder if this Was done
with region traders in mind or the player with a few odds n ends to sell?

I was quite exited about this until i read this in the Blog

"However, you won't be able to sell items from multiple stations at once"

This is a screenie from just a few items i have to sell

Piccy1

I have Thousands of items to sell, And to be honest i thought Multisell would allow me to select all of these Probes for example and put them on the Market at the price i wanted all in one go.

at the moment i would find the multiple items and copy & paste the prices in individually and then go through all the other single items.

Yes you want the game to do all the work for you... all in one go, as well as setting the price that you want..

How is the game supposed to know what price you want?

This feature is simple it takes the existing mechanics and allows you to batch your sell orders using the existing mechanics.

If you want to sell something you either sell it to the highest buyorder in range or set your own price which is how it works now.

You misunderstand my point...

I don't want it to do the work for me, Far from it but with it being called Multisell i would have expected to be able to select the probes from the piccy for example & put in my price into a sell box and them sell them instead of doing it all individually.

Great work! So much win! I saw it on SiSi earlier but I wasn't aware it would completely replace the existing window.

In light of this, please retain some sort of functionality where we can check the market listing for an item from the sell window. That button was really useful in the old window and it would be really great to still have it.

How exactly do you picture this working? Is the game supposed to read your mind and know what price you want for each item?Straight

I see the old sell interface is still there, I take it it's not going to go away? If not, very good.

The size of the field where the number of items to be sold is displayed is rather small, only three numbers are visible. What's the design decision / idea behind this?

Just trying to figure out what happens in this scenario:

1. I'm trying to sell a bunch of stuff and I drop the contents of my item hangar into the sell window.
2. I set the time to immediate which turns some items red.
3. I try and hit the sell button.

What I'd like is for the ones that can be sold immediately to sell immediately and the ones that cannot be to not be sold, but stay in the window. I could then set a time other than immediate and then sell the remainder.

Settings are remembered "for your convenience"!?!

I have long lost track of the number of times I have to transfer funds out of the corp wallet to reimburse myself and others who have sold their own stuff without realising that they (or I) had checked the Save Settings box.

Saving settings is not convenient - at least not from my perspective.

I'd much rather settings were not saved than automatically saved but please give us the option.

Awesome !!

Quote:
If there are no buy orders available for one or more items that you're selling, their backgrounds will be orange to indicate that the sale of that item will fail. Clicking sell while you have some items with no matching order will still work for any items with valid orders, and will return the ineligible items to your hanger.

Now about that part : I think that you'd make a lot of people happy by, in this situation, keeping orange items in the window instead of returning them to hangar. This way you can select a chunk of items, sell some of them through immediate sell orders, then without having to find these orange items again, place sell orders for them.
