I hardly think a 40m jump is a cause for concern, considering the ease of which a lot of people gain isk... 400m in the same period of time? I think then it would be border-line acceptable to start ripping out your hair/burning CCP wall-papers/post a complaint thread e.t.c.

It's funny because the higher PLEX price goes, the less PLEX is seeded into the market by players, accelerating the price climb.

OP trolling for attention, who cares what the price of pled is. ISK is fake money, couple hours working in real world covers 30 days for your ends. Why spend a month to grind another month?

As to the topic itself, if you were one for the idea of transporting PLEX and enjoy blowing it up but find that suddenly you have need for plex....can't have cake and pleasure your ego at the same time after looking at your kb Twisted

Haven't seen one of these threads in a couple weeks. Not bad. It's good to have variety.

Posting in fake complaint about PLEX thread #234 .

Seriously guys these attempts to manipulate PLEX prices up by continually exagerating the issue are getting very tiresome.

PLEX will start to go up again when the market forces demand it, this sort of blantant price manipulation is pointless.

But then it's an open secret that certain things are allowed to happen on Serenity which you'd get banned on Tranquillity for. So prices are relative.

Still supply and demand in play. ISK supply is high, PLEX supply is low - so their prices are higher.

As more people want to fund their accounts with PLEX, while fewer are willing to fund it by selling PLEX, prices will keep rising which, in turn, will lower how much PLEX someone needs to sell... Less PLEX need be sold to fund play.

Kind sad seeing a member of the CSM make such a short sighted comment, considering that the nature of Serenity plex prices is directly tied to the amount of botting that occurs there, and not factors applicable to Tranquility.

Yea, cause we call the blue doughnut botting something else here.

Maybe if you guys were as 1337 at real life as u are in game!! Get a job $130 for a year sub is nothing and i got 3 account. and putting down 100 bucks to get 5 bill from players is pretty cool. Cant wait till they are like 2 bill a plex. as im a poor pvp pilot. I got no time to PVE.

If u need more than 3 accounts to play eve ur doing somin wrong or ccp is trying to get as much of your RL cash. They make the game take as long as possible to do simple task that u need 10 accounts and 5 years to do.

A simple task as jumping from branch to jita takes 20 min ohh no that simple wont do lets add jump fatigue and 5LY limits make that take 5h that will force them to pay for eve longer as we got all these poor retards using plexes. we are not making any monies and we here at CCP are not smart enough to see that!

Asking CCP to "do something" about PLEX prices is like thinking the US president has anything to do with the price of petrol.

In both cases, it's a free market issue.

Well they could do "something" but that "something" would not achieve the result people are looking for.

I like the plex increase in price, since that means I can divert my isk income toward assets and progression rather than sustaining my subscription. Since my job is rubbish, I don't want another job, so I see my 30 days of subscription as worth the 2 hours of working my RL job to pay for.

The way I see things, a lot of people rather enjoy being able to sub their accounts for ingame isk, more power to them, but if people aren't putting more PLEX into the system, then it doesn't matter since PLEX are predominantly seeded through real world money paid to CCP

I think it's time we march on Jita!

On another note the increase is likely due to less people playing, therefore less supply and greater demand. Notice how in the past we had lower prices but also greater numbers playing. I can clearly show you this with this chart here:

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-YQ9Q5UEjpeE/U8PFusdW75I/AAAAAAAAJnI/YdNKaquEUwQ/s1600/Retribution+to+Kronos.png

Notice how we have a steadily declining player base over time. This to me indicates a possible correlation to prices through supply and demand and that being affected by player numbers.
