Yeah, I'd like to know the answer here too, considering I and many other people got ****** over when learning skills were removed by item #2 there. Despite being told we were going to get "an additional" remap.

I am curious about the effects of the CA 1 and 2...is the 50% bonus for the set only to each other, or is it to the set you might currently have plugged in? For example if I have a set of slave implants and put the CAs in, will the slave set bonus still be calculated as if you had the whole set?

Has anyone plugged in both? What is the overall cpu bonus you get?

I know the question is in the process of being answered, but I'd like to chime in and say that I would also like to see the gift remap handled separately from the regular, yearly remaps. For those with a remap saved up already, it can be a huge bonus to their training plans; for those of us who have used the remaps already, it'd be really sweet to get the same perk. I've got a remap coming up in just over a month and getting an extra remap on top of that would really make my next year of training easier to decide on.

Those items are not unique. Imperial apocalypses are unique, the pleasure yacht is unique, the golden magnate was unique. Those three ships where given out to everyone. There are hundreds thousands of them (so to speak), hardly collectors items and with limited functionality.

Hm, to pick your own present...

I think I'll stick to a principle about selecting items that cannot be acquired through other game mechanics, so it will proberly be a Zephyr and an Echelon...

Will the neural remap reset the timer or keep the timer with "one remap available" ?

I agree with the sentiment, but not the quantity. Should have been three of each A/B/C T2 (for Hulk), one Merx T2 (for Skiff), and three of each Veld/Scord/Pyre/Kernite T2 (Hulk or Covetor). If that's not enough for costs, include Omber and Spodumain (Spod in particular as a consolation prize - anyone who's seen the small Null mining site knows what I'm talking about).

An alternative entry would be a Covetor and three T1/ORE strips. Don't even bother about Ice, even with me.

The real hardcores would want one of the MindLink implants. That would have been VERY tempting.


Anyway, to me this looks like one set of fuel BPOs and a tie between the Thrasher pack and Republic M pack.

I never intend to sell chars to re-maps don't matter to me. P

I am most excited about all the gifts you are going to roll out and especially keen on that free remap. :-D

But wait...
We had that one last year and I was a bit disappointed - my regular remap was due on Januar 18th and I just got the remap 2 weeks earlier. While others had a definitive boost to their skill plans. This year, I assume this will happen again.
Although I wouldn't whine too much since you just want to be nice, I ask for this:

Could you somehow make the remap linger in the redeeming system for awhile (like 3 months)?
So that we can turn it in anytime during that period?

I assume the code for this mechanism has not changed, but that way a player could choose when to redeem and get the remap AT least 3 months earlier.
E.g. my regular remap would be on January 9th, I could wait till then, use the remap and redeem the Neural Surgery gift AFTER.

I would also love to know aboutt eh Remap option and if it resets the timer or not. I only ask as I have a character with no remaps available, but on the 27th of Dec I get my new one for the year. If I pick the remap option, I don't want it to screw it up and just have my cool down brought forward a week (and save me a total of 12 hours...woo! >.<) or if it stays in the redemption thing for a little while after selecting.

and for all you boys and girls wondering about the remap, i'm sure it will be like when they took learning skills out and dished out two remaps for nothing. It didn't effect my yearly timer and I ended up with three

Well... a corpmate also ended up with 2 more remaps (but had one available before).
However, I only got one remap INSTEAD of the regular one that would have been available a few weeks later anyway. And no, no extra one after that date passed.
I just don't want to repeat that experience. :-D
