Am I supposed to be on anti light drone duty with the Flycatcher? Why not go after the frigate/destroyer drone ship altogether? exp.radius bonuses for rockets and lights feels confusing.

+1 Launcher
+10 CPU
+3 PWG


My question now becomes: with all these crazy "balances" to missiles, where do they currently stand in the rankings of damage compared to the other platforms? (drones, railguns, hybrids, missiles, etc..)

I agree that the Drones are quite too powerful for the moment because the lack of counter measures.
But obviously light missiles are a bit too powerful nowadays.
it is funny to see that while CCP reduce the ROF of light missiles they are giving a bonus to ROF to the Heretic. Quite hard to predict what that will give.
In my opinion CCP should take a look to Explosion radius and Explosion velocity of the missiles. They do not fit with the stats of the ships ...

People are using lmls because hmls are trash atm. the only thing op about lmls is the range.

I Would also like to point out that cap usage on the Eris will go up with the ROF bonus, Will that be addressed?

All the Interdictor changes here are buffs to the ships.

The Heretic Damage -> ROF is a 7.6% DPS increase (which almost cancels out the 8% DPS loss from the 6% Rate of Fire penalty for LML) It's becoming a bit more mobile too, and don't forget the Rocket Heretic actually got a decent buff. The LML Heretic will probably be in the same position that it is in now (strong).

Flycatcher has gotten a significant boost. 16.6% DPS increase (The Flycatcher will have 10.5 effective Kinetic Launchers now). This is a 8.6% boost to raw DPS with light missiles, and a major boost to the Rocket Flycatcher.

I don't really understand the LML nerf.

Thier DPS is paltry
Thier Alpha is less than Arty's
They're inherently disadvantaged by velocity and flight times that other systems arent affected by
They don't get range or tracking (exp radius would be the closest equivalent) bonus's.
They have fair range, but missiles are designed to have range and are still out ranged by other platforms.

I'm just really perplexed and angered by this. Guess EVE will continue to be drones on-line until we get some fresh perspective on whats happening out there.

it wasn't with the megathron. they seriously need to stop with this rof bonus as a bigger damage bonus thing, if they're also going to be handing out 37.5% and 50% damage bonuses wherever they feel like it.

CCP plz remove light missiles from game and give us SP back. Who need them now? Maby you to nerf them again in next "patch".

CCP fix those damn bubble launchers on dictors, it is not normal that you are able to launch something and dock right away. Dictor bubble should be considered as aggro. This has lasted for too long. Pirate
