so, you can't stop it. you can only mitigate it, since you will need up to serious hardware (or, up to military level), depending on how hard it is, how fast, and how long it lasts.

They wont give you details, no reputable IT department would allow giving any details that could high light hardware circumstance of downtime as it would potentially expose vulnerability. So calm down happens in every game for once you can't blame CCP. If you want to be pissed and do something get your net+ ccna msce gsec cissp and ceh and go find lizard squad and call it a day


Funny, ive played EQ2 for 7 years never once had a DDoS attack downtime ... played WoW for 4-5 years and never had a DDoS downtime ... played a whole bunch of other games SWG/STO/SWTOR and more never once had a DDoS downtime .. where do you get your info from eves DDoS attacks in the past week are the first time i even heard of a DDoS attack
