Minor suggestion: Faction Armor Plates.

Currently, tech 2 have the best HP of all plates alongside highest mass penalty and highest fitting requirements.

Suggestion:

Adjust existing modules as follows:

- Federation Navy (meta 7) have the same HP as T2, with a smaller mass penalty, and better fitting requirements
- Imperial Navy (meta 7) have 105% of the HP as T2, with the same other stats
- Syndicate, as the meta 6 plates, have 102.5% of the HP of T2 with slightly better mass/fitting.

- Add Corpii deadspace plates with better stats

This small problem happens with the Miasmos. It probably might be relevant to other T1 haulers with more than one hold:

The Miasmos has a small hold for any item of cargo and a much larger hold for ore only.
This problem happens when a hauler is working with miners who use jet cans and when others wish to steal ore from the miners jet cans.
If you just press the loot can button then only the small multiple use cargo hold is filled and invariably because there is not enough room nothing is transferred into the small cargo hold. Also nothing is transferred into the larger ore hold.

This problem can I realise be circumvented by opening the ore hold window and jetcan window, then click n drag the contents to the ore hold window.

But it would be nice for the AI to be a little more intelligent and fill both holds on the Miasmos. Or just the larger ore hold as that is the role of the Miasmos hauler. For the AI to try to fit an obviously large load into the small multiple use cargo hold is plain silly.

Make salvage drones use a continuous animation during salvaging like mining drones instead of single shots. A continuous salvager effect already exists, so additional assets would probably not needed to be made.

Suggestion: Black bordered, or semi-transparent black background for white text.
keywords: UI, font,space,text

Reason: Sometimes, It's nigh impossible to read text in space, because there's a star overwhelming the text. Adding a border or background would mean it could be read under all conditions.

  • Suggestion: Auto Stacking of like items
  • Keywords: ui
  • Note: When placing items of same type in container ( of any type ) they do not auto stack
  • ---

I'd like to see an auto stack feature so you don't have to worry about it with perhaps a keyboard shortcut to NOT auto stack.. remote auto stacking should also be done (if I have 50 contracts for tritanium I don't want 50 separate stacks of trit, I want 1 )

Not sure if it has been mentioned yet or it if already exists but here is my request :D

Suggestion: Log date/time of completion for epic arcs in the journal, maybe even for each submission?
    Keywords: QoL, Epic arcs, journal
Note: I dont currently see any such information and/or option ( or have I missed it? )

Suggestion: Create a hotkey to "Add Location" when in space
    Keywords: Bookmarks, Hotkey
Note: The people and places window makes the client stutter after a few thousand bookmarks are saved in it, making it difficult to use while in space.

  • Suggestion: Add keyboard shortcut for 'Orbit at current range'
  • Keywords: navigation
  • Note: This shortcut does not exist.

  • Currently the only way to orbit at current range is to navigate a right click context menu. This is hampered by the fact that the range at which you will orbit is decided at the time when you open the context menu, not at the time that you have found and clicked on the correct menu item. For a frigate travelling at speed this is hopeless.

An 'Orbit at current' keyboard shortcut should be trivially simply to implement and would greatly improve the experience of frigate combat.

    • Suggestion: Increase Noctis targeting range to match Small Tractor Beam II
    • Note: With maxed skills the Small Tractor Beam II has an optimal range on the Noctis of 96km, while the Noctis targeting range is 93.75km. The targeting range was not changed when the Tech II version of the tractor beam was introduced.

When looking at a fitted/rigged ship contract, can we have a button or something that opens it up like the fitting window is currently so instead of trawling through a list of items etc we have essentialy the fitting window to SEE the whole fit, rather than the wall of text we currently have.
Also can you also add to contracts the ability for the ORIGINAL issuer to see the contents of the contract they put up, whether is pending, in progress, failed or completed?

When the current fleet boss leaves a fleet and the boss changes hands, have a 30 second confirmation window that the person has to click yes to to accept being fleet boss, if he clicks no or doesn't click anything, it goes to the next most senior person in the fleet until someone clicks yes.

This prevents someone that is afk from becoming the new fleet boss.

Lowering the average to make you look better since 2012.

They talked about the map on game design panel.

I wrote this article ~1.5 years ago w/ basic improvements in mind.

Read it CCP. Its not just the three things i list here, but this IDEA of things.

Suggestion: Link results when using locator agents
    Keywords: ui, locator, agent
Note: Location is returned in text only instead of an actual link

Though being quite new to the Highsec-PvP business I already find it very annoying that I always have to copy/paste the location from the agent notification to chat and then create a link there in order to set a waypoint. Especially if you frequently run more than 30 locator requests a day.
Why not just make the result already linked in the locator agent notification?

    You're in luck...

This very thing was mentioned in the presentation Karkur and Punkturis did on Thrusday at Fanfest.

No time scales, so no promises. But \o/

Suggestion: Add feedback when activating PLEX from the Assets page, and you have Recurring Subscription shown.

When you have Recurring Subscription shown in the Activate PLEX window, and you activate a PLEX from the Assets page, there is no immediate feedback to let you know if the PLEX activation succeeded or not. The Assets window has a long refresh time and will still show the PLEX as being there, and the PLEX window will stil show the Recurring Sub instead of how many days you have left. This can be be misguiding and cause people to inadvertently activate more PLEXes then they intended.

Suggestion: Make arrows around little cube in the center of probe formation rotating, so that they always turn their flat side to camera.

I'm sick of this pixel hunting when trying to drag probe formation along one axis and arrows for this axis happen to be visible from the edge.

A few small quality of life stuff:

    1) Allow Ctrl+A to select all items in currently filtered overview list.

    2) In the "Import Overview settings" show the path where the file to import needs to be. The way I find out the path is by exporting some overview (which shows the path the file goes to) and then going to import. Would be nice if the import dialog showed this directly.

    3) Maybe this is a bit more involved to implement, but it would be absolutely fantastic if the keyboard shortcuts for "warp to" , "Align to" etc will work with bookmarks we made. Since we have this nifty radial menu now, maybe it can be a new use-case of that menu:

    For example:

Click in empty space brings up the radial menu with one option to "show bookmarks in system" (that way we get the trimmed bookmarks applicable to just the current system as a window. Perhaps that window will auto-update as you move to new systems. and shortcuts will work on the entry highlighted?
