I think the fundamental problem here is that ECM is ****.

Fitting an ECCM makes light ECM drones more or less useless.

Tedium and difficulty are not the same thing, if you don't realize this then STFU about game design.

Confirming that the drone bay is VERY low on the list of reasons why the Talos is going to be a good ship.

Also... lol at all those people talking about blaster Talos. These ships have a very specific purpose, and it is not brawling.

Then what else do you use it for that a Naga can't do better? The more I think about it the more redundant one of them seems.

^This

And why does everyone assume that all 4 ships need to be exactly the same? And seriously, 5 eccm drones are not going to give it much of an advantage.

The Talos and the Naga are both very different ships. If you can not figure out what the Talos is supposed to be used for... I do not know what to tell you.

5 light ecm drones are rather weak.

Now if it could put out 5 medium ecm drones then there might be a problem.

Regardless ecm in general is the real kicker, not the drone bay. The drone bay is really not worth complaining about. Basically all these ships are imo sitting in a no-mans land where other ship types will perform better. I suppose we'll see just how useful they become and how whine worthy at some point later.

These seem like contradictory statements. First you imply that they have the same role then you say they are very different. Though if you can't be bothered to explain yourself I guess I can't be bothered to care.

I do think that only one of the new BCs got a drone bay is kinda one sided, at least give a 15m3 bay to the others or something (or prevent the Talos from using ECM drones). Oracle kinda got shafted with the cap usage, why not give it a few drones to even it out?

Or, you know, prevent the Talos from using ECM drones, I'm cool with that.

I'm glad to see all the big nose, sad face guys are in agreement.

But Gallente didn't get screwed for once and I'm okay with that.

Mr Epeen Cool

While the Talos isn't bad the Naga is a monster, I get the distinct feeling that the "gallente" buff actually buffed caldari more than gallente.
