CCP - really nice and readable font - great job.

or unless your dyslexic like me in which case have an unreadable font that gives you headaches.

But hey, who cares about about people with disabilities, should all be banned from EVE anyway, right?

Don't get all mad. The old font was terrible for some people, just like the new one is for others.
In my opinion we should just be able to choose between the old and the new fonts. Don't know how difficult it might be to implement though.

This is really a great suggestion, hope the devs will look at this Big smile

The session change timer will be changed in a few days when the dust has settled.

Not make another font, but instead let us choose between the old and the new one. Though fixing the bigger issues such as the terrible UI should be higher priority right now of course.

Updater needs better handling for low disk space scenarios, user should be informed early in the process.

Package downloaded, but I ran out of disk space during extraction.
It was pretty apparent what the problem was, so I skipped the repair tool, freed up space, relaunched EVE, and update process resumed with extraction, where it left off.

Toward the end I saw the same "error ept0015" that others have noted above - different audio file.
(check: 3.5 GB free) ok, NOW I'll run the repair tool.... and all is well.

The old one was on a diffrent frame work not compatible with the new one. We went round and round about it on the Sisi forumsTwisted

Ok now fix back scanning...

This.

Sigs keep on disappearing at smaller scan radius. (4au and under)

Scanner filter options have been changed. This means that if you have a custom filter for Cosmic Signatures you have to edit it to include the signature types you are interested in (or all of them) or you are going to experience "disappearing" signatures when scan result strength reaches 25%.

First of all, hisec is supposed to be boring. Secondly hisec incursions are completely demolishing the economy and are far worse for the future of Eve than the boredom of few and the unlikely though possible loss of a few subscriptions.

This PI export tax menace has to stop! Evil

Incarna:
Export of a Spaceport full of Toxic Metals (9999.7 m3): 19'999 ISK tax (0.3 low sec)

Crucible:
Export of a Spaceport full of Toxic Metals (9999.7 m3): 2'236'775 ISK tax (17% by Interbus in the same system as above)

Careful now with Dust 514 references :P

Anyways, does anyone experience visal artifacts after a session change? (everything that has a 3d model has a blinding red overlay to it)

Just a Couple of points at the moment.

  • Wrecks window in space.

  • These seem to keep opening the same size and location regardless if i resize any or change location (this maybe no fault but my own)

  • Mission description.

  • The objective location seems broken when the UI is scaled to 90%. it Shows as follows:

    Locatio
    n

(this doesnt happen when the UI is scaled at 100% or above. and seems to affect all mission offers regardless of agents)

  • Overview icons when scaled

  • They seem to be really fain. an option to make these items more bold would be a vast improvement.

I understand these points are all asthetic and can be solved with increasing the ui scale back 100% but all other icons and font on screen are clear and offer conciderably more room.

Brilliant update, with so many spot on features. Cheers Big smile

Wait, all this crying is because they pay higher taxes in hisec than in low or null?

Really? That is what it's about?

When using scanning probes there used to be a blue color applied to the arrows when cursoring over them to indicate what it was you were currently altering. This is now missing and I'd like the convenience it offered restored. Also please restore the ability to pin windows down as soon as possible. Accidentally moving or altering windows is a pain and tends to happen when you're panicing and don't have time or patience to deal with it.

EDIT: Noticed one special container in space didn't have the loot all button. It was one that was floating in space colored red in the overview, one of those special containers you see in DED complexes. Not really much of an issue, but I thought I'd mention it anyway in case they are supposed to have it too.

- lower engines on Astarte model show through the ship from the front - two blue dots
- scaling UI doesn't scale the font in some windows/things until restart
