First a question. Am I being dense in trying to find it or has the ability to put in notes disappeared?
[edit] NVM needed a few more cache clears to get the box to show up.

Second, Even IF someone was using information for extra intel who really cares?

I mean if someone saw my chain it doesn't really change much. If they happened to open up into that chain, they would find it by scanning the rest anyhow. Maybe it would save a bit of time depending on how the sigs were recorded. But otherwise it doesn't change that much.

It is like knowing the J number of where someone lives. It's not like knowing gives you some special ability to find that system (you still have to roll into it). And if you did roll into it, you can figure out a system's occupancy without much effort in most cases.

Just to put my two cents in here, My corp / alliance were one of the few that got to use it whilst it was in its testing / development stage and it certainly helped speed up the cumbersome wormhole chain logging!

Its good to see it now available to everyone, just hope its used to its full potential.

Just remember, not everyone is from Jita and out to scam you to the cows come home!

This tool is fantastic!

Accurate, easy to use, nicely design and practicle. I highly recommand it for anyone living or rating in WHs.

The best 3rd party tool and one of the most polished sites I've seen. Switching my corp ops to it! Highly recommended!

I am going to have to delay the patch I was going to release last night for 24/48 hours.

During testing of some new features I found some flaws in the back-end. No security flaws, only efficiency issues and uniformity.

I am going to be rapidly fixing these issues on Galileo so expect major parts not to work at random times.

Ok updating from my previous post. I still don't get the notes area in game. I cleared the cache like 3 times and it came back a couple of days ago. now even clearing the cache won't bring it back.

it shows up fine outside the game in Chrome.

I am working to fix this bug along with many others - I am nearly finished with this patch and hope to release it later today.

Good job. One small request if it's ok to say it here ... hovering over system to see who is where is not so
good solution, imho it should be somehow always visible, if you know what i mean.

Thx

FEATURE REQUEST:
=================

First, many thanks again for this wonderful tool.

Would it be possible to add the following two complimentary features?

1. allow each pilot to set a status (AFK, READY, BIO, GF AGGRO, WATCHING YOUTUBE)
2. Provide a summary screen showing the locations, ship types and status of each pilot in corp, grouped by status (READY at the top)?

This would make my life as a reluctant FC so much better.

Lots of good ideas! It is going to get difficult to track these in this thread so if at all possible could you register and post them to my Tripwire forums? https://tripwire.cloud-things.com/froums

Yesterday (2/23) Tripwire usage broke records again with over 1,000 signatures being tracked and almost 100 concurrent users. This caused a total of 1% CPU usage across 6 cores. Total bandwidth usage of just over 6 GB.

I am not trying to discourage the creator of this tool from continuing on his monumental task, nor am I trying to detract anything from this great app. However, this is not the first tool of this kind. In fact there have been other mapping tools out there for years, to sticky a thread promoting one tool over others seems a bit strange.

I agree here.. We use one where the source was released to the community (which is why we use it, so we can host it ourselves), and find its feature set to be equal to this one, why is this one getting special treatment over the others? The one we use (or any of the other ones) don't seem to have stickies (but do have posts in this forum board, such as eve w-space has its own thread).

Perhaps an index thread of all mapper tools can be stickied?

Im new to WH stuff and today when i got 3 dozens of hole-bookmarks i was dreaming about a tool that is able to build a map based on scanned systems. And here it is. What a pleasant surprise! No more self-made paper maps! :)

I'm inclined to agree with Gnaw here. There have been and are multiple tools similar to this one.

Not saying trip wire or any other tool is better but why sticky one over all the others that have been listed here?

Let's try to keep this discussion about the tool itself and not about whether or not it should be stickied.

Thank you.
