Battllefiield is a roleplaying game - how many ppl do you shoot real life with 223. remington (I would always prefer 30-08 oc)?.
You have a toon and stats.

Eve is a game with a special content - most of that content is what you call lore.

Like 9k scram range - all the game stats are lore.

How often du you wait rl at a door for a timer to expire?

Or do you need nippon cars IV to drvie a toyota?

Face it - FW is the biggest roleplaying aspect in eve.

Bio sucked so hard because they did not grasp that.

Not sure how anyone successfully roleplays FW in it's current state. Oh victory is upon our fine faction! As hundreds of unfit frigate flew in circles in some systems no one cares about, we shall now pointlessly shoot the same structures and haulers in return for truckloads of ISK. Next month we do the same for the opposite faction.

Roleplay is just another weakness in Eve, with the bonus of looking silly while you do it. I'm sure some people enjoy it I just dont get why as the game mechanics don't facilitate it very well at all.

Kick your enemies out of their home systems?

Destroy their ships?

Break their will?

FW is roleplaying war.

If you guys can not grasp that - there is no way to explain it.

All those null farmers come to FW space - how many FW guys go to ****** null sec to farm it?

Even in a FPS the goal of the roleplay war game is to dominate your enemy - that is a very simple game concept.

These guys in unfit frigates are role played as unloyal locals who will switch to whatever side pays them the most. They bully the local population when the real fighters are away. See: Afghanistan. The dynamics of the region keep the "regular militias" from stamping them out by force (It's hard to fight a guerrilla war) because it takes too much resource to place regulars in backwater areas. What works best is paying them off with higher Tier levels. Unfortunately the payouts don't last forever.

How's that?

So basicallly WINMATAR. needs to cut out, since their allies got tired of doing most of the fighting against everyone who had declared war on them. Got it.

Are you guys planning on taking the same standards for 'victory' to the CalGal zone that you displayed over here? I mean, I'm quite certain that taking it 90% of the way and then getting bogged down by your own greed will work just as effectively over there.

I, for one, am sad that WINMATAR. are leaving. It was nice having someone to blame all the bad stuff on. I'll have to start bashing TRIAD or something.
