WINMATAR. departures from the minmatar militia

I suppose it's better to measure your worth based on the number of kills you get in on with 50 other people. That is far better indicator of game competency after all.

Eve is a roleplaying game . No amount of arguments will change that.

If you do not believe me just open your character sheet - get pencils and paper ready!

Or do you think you really are part of a milita? That is lol.

That you kill ppl? More lol. Mostly it is only a ship loss - not even a "kill".

Do you think the gallente exist? Or the amarr or every other eve entity? Triple lol.

However being bad at roleplay was the reason the bio guys got kicked out their home system - they thought they could play eve against its roleplaying rules. Or better, they did not care about its roleplaying rules at all. Many of the bio guys were null bears, so having no clue about roleplaying rules is logical.

"Kill" boards are totally ****** up - the main problem in an roleplaying game is the question what a "kill" is.

It is also a mess that most of the stat-bases in eve are thrid party products - ccp may change that.

Now the bio guys joined the roleplaying aspect of being part of the lol gallente milita.

I hope they get "real" fights there.

You can foget killboards actually completely. Saw the points on Zkill? ROFL. You get something around 34 points if you kill a dram with a rifter and same points when dram kills rifter^^

Battledings is better tehre but not many people use it.

Bio simply lost because their leaderships is *****.
Park 20 guys in one plex while foe runs 2 other plexes with 4 guys in total and then they wonder why they loose^^
Sometimes I wonder if eve is more like Marmite. I mean people ganking pvers "hey look at me I got a kill", or people wishing you "gf" in local afte they "won" a 6vs1.... Rofl.
Tbh 75% of eve players are like highsecwardeccers.
Minnies bore me actually. Never saw such a risk averse militia. Actually they are all parked in Huola and run plexes with stabbed galalts and bots like mad. I mean okay you have farmers at tier3, 4. But at tier1????
I see minnie farmers farming at tier1 everywhere^^
Now don´t tell me that are regular farmers. Haha. All these alts are minnie alts. Really I don´t even know why we even bother "fighting" such a ****** foe^^. Minnies simply hide in huola and plex with alts everywhere^^.
It si true: Minmatar militia is a pve militia. Nothing else. Never saw such an amount of bombers hopping from sys to sys when they had tier4.
Actually I am starting to believe winmatar weren´t the worst of minnie militia.

Nothing you typed separates EVEs characteristics from say a typical FPS. Yet no one would call battlefield an RPG.
RPG's are defined by peoples willingness to delve into the lore of a particular game and run with it. It is possible to do that in EVE, and some do. Those that dont, for example i dont know any eve lore, cannot be considered roleplayers. I consider winning a fight in eve much the same as i do in planetside 2, just fun.

Defining roleplayers as any person who plays a game using a character that isnt themselves, like some virtual avatar, just makes the term meaningless and applies to nearly all games ever made.

BIO pissed some people off, they payed the price. You may have roleplayed their mortal enemy, i see no evidence they reciprocated.

It feels too soon to add two groups to Gallente. We aren't supposed to hit Tier3 till I can rock a decent Prot/Tengu. Oh well, guess I'll miss out on mission sperging for iskies again.

While I'm sure Khan will have an effect with his FCing I think BORG are being rather misrepresented in these discussions. BORG only has one active corp, DICTK, with about 30 pilots. The other corp's remaining in BORG are all completely dormant. That's not to under-rate DICTK, though; they are a great corp. But Khan's move to GalMil is the movement of one FC and one corp rather than a mass migration. Winmatar are a rather different kettle of fish.

You can laugh but actually I realized that I will miss winmatar.

Now only the standard minnies left. That means Annah Kitheraning without end:
a)OMG we have 2 ogb and 10 of us vs 2 of them without ogb. We take that "fight".
b) Omg we have almost only twice their numbers and same shiptypes. Plus they have ogb too..... stay docked!!! Back to farming with our stabbed alts at tier1.
We love you Annah^^

I remember I did some amount of missions in tier4, fat wallet gives me a stiffy. But as soon as there was a call for a fleet me and everyone else (almost) dropped that stuff and burned back to home system to reship.
