Same issue here.

Log-in screen looks fine, but goes haywire from the character selection screen.... trying to select a character is like throwing darts in the dark.

It was fine before last night, the game is not in a playable state now.

Do any devs pay attention to these threads? Where do we file bug reports?

I've just started a thread on the WineHQ forums. It's awaiting moderation but I'll link to it when it's approved.

Linux isn't an officially supported OS. You could petition a GM but I doubt they'd do anything other than tell you to run Windows or OS X. :(

Mines twitchy, but not as bad as most from descriptions. (below is laptop info, haven't checked game box yet)

Ubuntu 13.10 64-bit
Intel i5 @ 2.6GHz w/ Ivybridge Mobile graphics
linux 3.11.0-15
wine 1.6.1

It's sort of like instrument flying.
And all the anomalies on screen are twitchtv icons.

Might be fun for 24hrs, hope it fixed next DT

No, But they have been friendly to us and made an effort to have their client work under wine. But we are all paying customers, which should matter for something.

Mmmkay, the factory Win8 on the same laptop (ASUS UX52VS) seems to run fine in both dx9 and dx11 modes. Drivers are 307.something.

Didn't try extensive testing to check for the crash the devs were trying to fix when they broke the whole thing on linux.

Same problem here. I can also confirm that Singularity has no flickering as of this posting.

System: latest Arch
Wine: 1.7.10
Kernel: 3.12.9-1-ARCH
Drivers: nvidia 331.38-2
Other: playonlinux 4.2.2-2

Another (unrelated) problem for me is that wine 1.7.11 crashes when I change the resolution or window-mode of the client.

It seems to be not Linux-only problem: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=318690&find=unread

I can confirm that setting "Interval" to immediate in the graphics settings makes the game almost playable.

I have a similar issue, although I don't need to actually change any settings to make it crash, just going to the Graphics tab in the game Menu locks up the client.
