It indeed cost a lot, but it also generate a lot killmails, loot drop and enjoyment, and keep the guys busy when it is quiet.

Also, how is it different from any other Nulsec/Lowsec/Hisec entity taking what it wants by force when not available otherwise?

You played the POCO owning game, and got beaten by a bigger, badder dog. Heh.

Yeah I don't deny that they are bigger and badder. But they put themselves across as mercs. These hardcore guys that won't roll out of bed for less than $100k in an envelope. But it's all bull. Just like any other group they just want easy kills against people that can't fight back.

The POCO game is a joke to be honest. We all knew it was going to be owned by the same people that owned everything else. I stupidly thought that perhaps, since there are thousands and thousands of planets to choose from, that having 1 would be possible. But it's not enough to own nearly everything, these guys want it all. There's no way for a small group to hold one as there's no way to defend it against bigger numbers.

I don't think you understand how this works. If Devil's takes over your POCO, you won't be able to drop a new one. This means you won't be able to transfer it to the goons, which means that Devil's does not have to wardec the goons.

So unless you miraculously found a way to destroy the Devil's POCO using your awesome (probably non-existent) pvp skillz, or you're prepared to pay some other badass mercs, that POCO will never be yours or goons.

I hope youre not insinuating that rebirth. joined devils to get away from you...we've wardecced sovereign infinity in the past and nothing happened despite us popping into your system. Hell you guys arent even worth sending a scout into the system first because we know youll run off anyway

You guys? I like Sovereign Infinity, but then I also like Mastercard. and Pod Repo and I even have a certain fondness for Failed Diplomacy. And apparently you aren't too good at reading since Gem Daisha announced a bit earlier that she sent me a mail asking me not to include Sovereign in my posts anymore. So this is the last one where I say anything about them.

As to whether you ran away from the dec - I don't really know, but you did allow Concord to send them a notification that you had surrendered - and that's what my point was about. Rebirth. SURRENDERED to Sovereign Infinity. And they've got the notification that shows it (unless they all deleted that one!)

So, you can keep up your smacking if you want, saying how they run away (sorry, they wouldn't have lost an expensive ship if they always ran away!) but I won't be defending them anymore - I shouldn't be posting this. I've talked with Gem and I like her, so I'm going to do as she asks.

I am going to continue to watch your war with The Marmite Collective, however, and I'm going to cheer them on every time they get a Rebirth. kill!

well you want be cheering much as those are few and far between, especially when i view the campaign rebirth has against marmite...what is it...78% and how do we "allow" concord to send anything? we join an alliance and the corp sends a surrender but the alliance gets the wardec

Just to update you on this. They destroyed the POCO, as expected.
I beat them to the drop on the new one, and transferred it out before they could wardec my alt (turn out the guy Cerbutt that tried to drop it was an alt of their CEO, so he has noone to blame but himself).
They got their CEO in and went with the usual damage control of "We didn't want that POCO anyway".

So much for this "never be yours or goons".

To confirm, he was quicker than me. and the new poco is Goons. For now :)
But this guy have apparently no clue why merc groups do bash poco's.
I've tried to tell him.. but he is too smug atm to realize it :)

If you had known me Barrat, you would know I have oooodles of patience, and take my time.
And.. with two Poco's down and the time wasted I would think your the looser atm :)
Even if I "wasted the dec cost and time".

+ I've got a couple of free bumps here :)

Yup, free bumps. Is that what this was all about then?
What you were trying to tell me in local is that you supposedly want to generate fights, yet wanted to buy the poco, which would pretty much be the opposite of generating fights.
Let's face it, what you wanted was to get the POCO. You failed. so now damage control is your only option. A merc corp being bested by a single player's alts is not exactly the best advertisement for you. So you will try to spin whatever you can to make it sound better for you.

Facts are though, you tried to steal my poco when I first placed it. You failed.
So you tried to bully me into selling it to you for cheap. You failed
So you wardecced me, and spent the time destroying to so you can take it by force. You failed.
And all I had to pay for the victory here is a couple of pocos, which is less than most merc corps would charge.

However you want to spin it, the facts make it clear what happened here.

I'll let you believe that.

We actually wanted to buy them at a little over cost. Then you tried to transfer your poco's to alt corps.
When we dec'd you, you changed your mind and sent us an offer of buying them for 80m a pop

You would actually have made isk instead of loosing it taking the first deal ;)

Indeed, an alternate plan was to take the 80m isk and transfer them out to goons anyway :p

Still you can hardly claim that what you wanted was "gudfites". You wanted the POCOs. And you failed. Now you damage control with the "I didn't want them anyway" defense, which is by far the most pathetic.

You lost. Man up and accept it.

I do want them, just taking my time :)
Who says its over yet?

I never said I didnt want them anyway.
Tbh.. I'm sure this is not the first time someone will manage to place a poco before someone else. And It wont be the last.
Its a part of the game.

But giving your poco's away and claming you won... heh

And I'm sure I'll get my fights from the new owner of yours.

"I'd love to do a character with a wife, a nice little house, a couple of kids, a dog, maybe a bit of singing, and no guns and no killing, but nobody offers me those kind of parts." -- Christopher Walken

The Devil's Warrior alliance, killing people not because they are bad, but because it is the role they have been chosen to play. Roles in which you the beseiged CEO are writer and director.

Everyone needs more Christopher Walken in their real lives, just like every CEO needs more Devils Warriors in his EvE life.

The Devil's Warrior alliance, tear generation perfected. The capacitor is now full.

Vietnam master sniper Carlos Hathcock (who wrote the book on stalking) crawled for days, inches at a time, to stalk and kill a high value target. Those who believe in re-incarnation often point out the strangely co-incidental date and time of Hathcock's death, with that of Lord Razpataz's birth on the exact opposite side of the globe...
