Rubicon update has decreased responsiveness to commands

See, the only one I seen thus far was occasional derp when moving a bunch of items out of a looting run on a L4 mission where I had to do it twice. Otherwise I haven't noticed anything.

Posting because I see myself 'approaching' a gate often when I am at zero on it, and have clicked jump.. I have to spam jump again before it actually does. seems to be happening regularly.

I don't get the rest of the lag people are speaking about, but I am running DX9 client.

Yeah. I've actually been pretty inactive lately but when I do play, the commands feel slightly sluggish somehow.

If it wasn't just my imagination and other people are having the same problems, this could be pretty serious.

^ This is the most obvious to me too. Often the ship seems to 'hang' there waiting (for several seconds sometimes) for the jump to start. There are other minor lag issues but the jump to 0 seems to most sever at moment.

Glad it's not just me who noticed these changes...

This happened a few expansions ago but cleared up a few days later after some updates. It happened again for Rubicon but the last few days have felt fine to me

there's also somekind of micro freeze when you sit there in space and do nothing for a while and then click again, the system is stuck for a sec and then the game responds...

This is making PvP really annoying. I've lost more fights this week than in the last several months, directly due to modules and commands not responding when I click them. I've given free kills to people who would have died easily had the modules worked.

Looking forward to a fix. Oops

Ok, this has happened a few times to me also. I click the "JUMP" button, ship goes into warp, arrives at gate, and then just sits there. I have then had to click the "JUMP" button again to actually jump the gate. Fortunately, it has not resulted in any losses or occured during critical game play.

Glad I can blame CCP and not my memory.

Yep, especially nice with a cloak. Click the cloak and it doesn't active, click it again and it shuts it off because it actually did active but lags just long enough to make you click it twice.

I'm seeing this as well.

"Enduring", "restrained" and "ample" as designations for starship components are foreign to the genre of high-tech science fiction and don’t belong in Eve Online. (And as for “scoped” …)

This was happening pre-Rubicon too. Certainly annoying, but not new.

It's not a bug, its a feature (more than one new player a month) CCP were unprepared for

Did notice some of those things like re approaching a gate twice and my ship just not doing what I'm used to it doing. Figured it was because of Rubicon but it seems, reading that dev blog, there's bigger issues. Thing is of course that lag is an ongoing battle and as someone pointed out a while back; TiDi probably made them feel comfortably in the lead to a point where they slowed down progress, which is what we're now paying the price for.

Guess we'll have to be careful a bit and try to allow for little issues like that.

I've had all of the problems above.

Manual piloting certain ships is essential in pvp. It's no good clicking in space, only to find my ship has not responded and is now webbed and scrammed because the enemy had ample time to slowboat towards me while my unresponsive ship just sat there. Never mind, I'll just put my web on him and get out of scram range - oh wait, the web doesn't work even though I activated it twice. Wait, it did activate and now it's turning off. FML!

I don't give a toss about flashy gate jumps or pve content. I just want fast response time on commands when fighting, so that pvp is based on skill rather than blind luck whether the commands you gave the ship actually registered or not.

Pvp is the core of this game, don't let it slide while you're adding flashy pve content.

I've noticed this for sometime now, originaly it was with docking and I petioned it after losing a ship becasue of it, and was told that it was a issue alt tabbing... but it's a lot worse just of late, with lag on all kinds of commands and fuctionality all over the gamut of Eve. I'm on DX9 and running the Mac client, so it would seem that it's not a graphics or client issue... lets hope that the backend software upgrade schedualed for todays extended DT helps resolve the issue - otherwise we're going to have to keep pushing this thread for an offical investigation...

This is idd a huge issue atm. I have it as well.
Already with the camera reset bug I was starting to contemplate why am I paying monthly subs for a game without sound (the only solution to bug annoyance was to turn off sounds).
And now with the increasing promotion of RSI and the way game now forces me to actively participate throughout long borring jump routes (or risk sitting in space doing nothing but wasting time and being a target) I am seriously on verge of taking a break for a month or two.

I have it the worst, no shortcuts work at all, not even escape. Also the client seems to bugout my clicking within my operating system as well. Windows 8.1
