So, did anything come of that anti-CONCORD protest in Yulai?

I couldn't make it, was in bed after a big night drinking (it was 7am Sunday here).

I had intended to come along in a smartbombing battleship, ready to harvest bounties from any Catalyst pilot that showed up in an expensive pod and that had a bounty on them.

Any reports or was it a fizzer?

Based on the conversation I had in Live Events chat, I heard it was complete chaos. 200-300 pilots.

But I haven't found a stream yet.

Recommendations:

-enable ships wobbling in hangar view (pre-Captains Quarters)

-add more missions (NPC fleet vs. NPC fleets that actually shoot)

-STOP NERFING EVERYTHING!

You made the right choice going to bed.

There was about 200 in local at around 20:00, out of these i think about 40 or 50 came in catalysts with the intent of shooting concord and the rest where there for kill mails... me included... some one shot early before 20:00 and it all kind of went wrong here there was no coordination and hardly any kill mails to whore

I only got three before getting bored and heading back, by all accounts a more coordinated attack was made about 20:30 but from what i understand not alot came of it.

I was there with the intent of reporting on it due to the nice positive comments I had about me covering the Elukor trial protests on my blog. But the Yulai event was just one big pile of chaos. Yes there were 200-300 pilots, but practically no organisation, and they seemed to attempt to orchestrate things trough local... wich was a serious issue.
In short, not much worthy to report about outside *Concord crushes opposition* and *Capsuleers failed to organize a gank on Concord* Was just not much story I could spin in it.

Edit: well I've been proven wrong, by popular demand I did make a report on it, cheers for all who believed in it!

I was there with my Talos, collecting corpses. No matter how creepy it sounds, it pretty much sums up the whole event.

Actually, I think that's a fantastic headline to start off with. Remember, most news outlets are meant for the non-capsuleer market, and baseliners are for the most part not the biggest fans of us capsuleers (to put it mildly...)

A little spin to make it into a bigger failure than it already was would make for a great story.

Sorry, just don't want to see you give up so easily. Your last piece was really good.

I doubt the press would use the term 'gank '. We don't IRL.

I don't know, Eve has it's own vernacular and I don't see why that vernacular shouldn't or wouldn't be used in-character.

"Capsuleers Crushed assaulting Concord" 'They couldn't find their ass with both hands' said one senior Concord official who wished to remain nameless when asked about the Capsuleer fleet that attacked Yulai recently......

Well, by popular demands, I came round and published a report on the Yulai event.

Aurora News Report: Capsuleers fail to gank Concord

Big thanks to those who believed in it and made me rethink my decision! As a way to say thanks, I added several of the folks who supported me in the comment section with a quote derived from comments here(and some extra who did ingame).
