seems like CCP told shattered crystal to stop selling GTCs, because they just now suddenly went out of stock :)

I must say that you and DNSBlack are heroes.

I was about to quit this game, but I'm basically staying around just to watch you guys do your thing Twisted

CCP, take note, we are watching very closely here. while others haven't put their horses into the race yet, there is always room for competition in a healthy economy Pirate

I do agree with the other guy saying you're cashing out too low, although that is your call to make.

perhaps the interested parties that are looking into doing this would like to establish a dialogue and 'price-fix' the affiliate GTC market and thus insure all get a piece of the pie without driving the price of isk down too quickly? Twisted

Taking this to the long term is there anything stopping someone setting up a GTC site selling at say $50 to provide say 20% to affiliate links? The competition for those links could get very serious. I agree though, with the rate at which people are buying those it seems even the relatively wealthy OP will run out of ISK soon enough, of course he has stated thats what he wanted to cash up quickly.

For a 50$ GTC sale with 20% commission you might see:

GTC retailer gets + $7 per transaction

GTC affiliate gets $10 per link

Customer might get GTC + 2bn (3/4 plex) for an extra $15 spend

This is not a forum alt, this is a forum main.

o/ Katarina Reid

Just curious, do you know if markeedragon got a reply from CCP regarding the TOS about this yet? I prefer to use Markeedragon if I can so would be nice to know if he heard back from them (since he's a major GTC seller so I would imagine they would reply him pretty quickly, but I might very well be wrong).

It's a great offer you have, so very very tempted.

Ps. Does your offer expire when that 46bil (at current status) in your wallet is depleted, or will you sell assets and replenish the wallet?

From what I can tell this currently only works if using a CCP-approved game time code reseller. I'm pretty sure that anyone doing as you suggest would not be approved.

My thread has been up for longer. Why did they shut you down and not me? Isk is not a item is the only thing i can think of.
Your just a hater trying to put my customers off. "It's safer than getting straight ISK from my competitors," was your first attempt but your not safer when you get shut down so fast. Now you come here butthurt i dont see dns or DarkDecay or Shai 'Hulud coming in here crying. Even tho there threads where locked. Check there lock threads

I wasn't going to actually do the Nyx lottery you know. No one would 3rd party it anyway.
I made the thread to get closer to how people cashed out thus far (Blink lottery), to add value to the ongoing discussion about RMT and to get a reaction from CCP.
Well, it got shut down, so what implications does this have for yours or Blinks schemes?

I also don't see my non-existant customers getting hurt, whereas yours might get their ISK removed, accounts marked and possibly (temp)banned.

Play it safe people~ CCP can (and will as history shows) ban you for any reason at all if they want to.

Also wololo I was going to leave your thread alone, not cool posting in competitor threads, but you first posted into mine flaming, you know.

Edit: Did you even read their lockthreads? Man. They were trying to be an unofficial ETC reseller which is clearly forbidden ("I'll sell you a GTC for 2000$"). The other one was character lottery, which is also clearly forbidden. Our threads have none of that.
