I bet ccp drop the idea!

I saw at fan fest they wanted to give it to the players then alliances! I think the main idea for big alliances should be the space it's self not the moons! So is the idea still floating about CCP HQ?

The same thing that happened to modular pos's. They took it out back on a cold rainy night, shot it in the spine 3 times, and left the body for the crows.

The null sec cartels prefer moons over ring mining, because it makes for a more controllable chokepoint on the supply.
Therefore, CCP left it as is, because, as we all know, Eve is so much better when the null sec cartels grow rich on anyone who buys a T2 module or ship.

That or the guy that wanted to do it left for another game.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

It's much easier to just rebalance content that has been around forever than to actually make new content!

HEY OP!! Stop trying to hold CCP accountable for their promises, you should feel bad about yourself now for doing that...

Also keep in mind, that some of the major design and decision making people behind those great idea (ring mining, modular POS, etc) are allegedly leaving CCP.

Hopefully we'll get some solid commitments on "what's next" during the CCP "Winter Expansion" broadcast later this week.

I read that as "and left the body for the cows"

This got me to thinking some crazy things about what kind of cows they might have in Iceland.

highsec miners would have had to update their botting programs so predictably they got the idea axed.

Rather "what's left". Will they announce something what they have proPOSed some time ago? I would like to see faces of the crowd when they will talk about the planetary flight. Lol

Ring Mining would a "New Feature" and CCP do not do "New" they only do "Iterations"

Essentially if it does not currently exist in game then you can forget about it.

Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations Iterations

You get the point...

wow look at the conspiracy bullshit again.

It could be its a MAJOR change and needs lots of work to get it:

a) Balanced
b) Designed and Created
c) Implimented.

No no its because goons did it.

Getting bored with this bull.

Something else that CCP promised. Get in the line, you have a long wait.

If it needed a lot of work, why did they say we would have it by now a year or two ago? How much work it actually would take is largely irrelevant at this stage. CCP said they would do it, like they said they would make Modular POSes, Waslking in Stations, and other such pipe dreams. We can only know what CCP are capable of at any point in time by trusting what CCP says they can do... and there is no use trusting them there.

Also, if you actually read the thread you would see no one blamed the goons (this time), remarkably.

Oh yeah, it's a lot of work. Just like adding loot drops to Rogue Drones is a lot of work.

Sarcasm aside, CCP is notorious for saying one thing and then doing another.

Case in point = The Door.

Obviously Ring Mining isn't conducive for easy ganking, so it'll probably be placed on the back burner like all the other promised content.

Well they promised planetary flight 7 years ago and it still hasn't arrived so don't hold your breath.

Man.. too often I get the feeling that CCP is nothing more than a drunk fool sitting in a corner talking about how he has a fool proof plan to become a bigshot CEO for a major company within a few years.

A few years later, you see him sitting in the same corner talking the same bs he did the first time with a slight modification.

I have posted somewhat same post some time ago asking CCP what happened to ring mining....other players said CCP changed their mind and stopped that project. I think this is actually really bad and a lot of people were looking forward to ring mining. Also current moon mining mechanics seem really wrong to me and need to be fixed. But unless this thread grows up into a threadnought or unless someone will get bunch of people to shoot Jita monument, I dont think anything will change, unfortunately.
