We need to stop ships tumbling out of warp... from the first-person perspective they arrive aligned and straight but to everyone else the arrival looks like a shambolic tumble.

Lets have objects affect ballistics, beams, and sensors. I wanna hide behind roids from sensors and trash locks behind structures, other ships, and debris etc.

Give me an option to have scanning done automatically.... it is so frikkin' boring. Let it take longer on auto... manual magicians can still do fast scans etc but doing the search for exits each day when living in a wormhole is totally tedious and NO fun at all.

I like the idea of saving scheduled routes as flight plans you can activate regularly.

Change game dynamics so that hisec ganked wrecks and cargos are embargoed by Concord to be collected at a nearby station by the owner of the destroyed ship. Ganker pods are warp scrambled and have to pay a "fine" to be released by Concord.

Require warp planning to avoid planets (although new warp tunnelling seems to be a good thing). Regardless, ships should not be able to warp through stations....

Provide an immediate indication when a disconnect has occurred so you don't just keep shooting obliviously.... A neat flashing red "DISCO" would be good so you can warn your mates over teamspeak that you are about to leave them in the poo.

Stop CCP notifications like countdown to downtime etc stealing focus as this can cause painful issues when engaged in combat... the damn things are in the middle of the screen so we can see them... we don't need to be forced to hit OK before we can do anything else in the UI.

Corp / Alliance logos on ships are still not here after 5 years..... Give us or logos!!!!

Why the hell can't I have a traffic control picture of ships in the vicinity of stations before I undock... A radar view as a station service is needed.

Cheers

Add a "repair all" button to the first "repair" dialog, please. That way repairing my ship and all contents becomes a three-click action "right-click ship", "click 'repair all'", "confirm"

Currently it's 5 clicks and a keyboard combo: "right-click ship", "click any of the listed items" (augh manually having to place focus so Ctrl-A works), "Ctrl-A" to select all, "click repair", "click repair all". "confirm".

Also, when opening a wreck for the first time, pre-select all contents. That saves the exact same focus-click + ctrl-a.

This is already live on Singularity. I think.

When you disconnect, they try to get to the dronebay before you warp off (that's live already)
and as far as i have read a reconnect button is already implemented too or will get implemented soon.

Thought of another one, but I'm not sure how small this is.

Can you please fix the contacts watch list? As it stands, the list does not reliably update when your contacts log off (which is terribly frustrating when you're hunting WTs). This basically forces you to regularly relog (to get an updated list) or remove/re-add large numbers of people to get an accurate count of who's online.

Fix the the contact list where people appear online even if they have logged/switched toons. Put a manual refresh button somewhere so we don't chase offline toons or have to constantly remove and add characters to see who is online then re-apply tags etc. If you PVP this "bug" is a giant pain and has been around since I started playing in 08.

How about the ability to drag a fitting to the market window and purchase all of the available fittings in that Station/Region/Solar System (Whichever you choose) all at once at the lowest available price?

plus wtf is up with people scared and confused bout AU's to km's? yahh 1 AU is exactly 149 598 000km but jesus, if ur adding up multiple UA's then just use an approximation!

150 million km for example.. then all u have to do is add up 150's or even 15's. not exactly rocket science!

Of course it's not difficult, we do it daily and we learn that approximation very early when learning how to dscan :) For me it's just an annoyance to convert it, even though it's not hard or anything.

Ideally the input could understand both units somehow, then everyone would be happy. ;P

Edit - this applies also to Solstice's reply.

I'm quite new, but it seems unfair to me that training for advanced missiles take way shorter than training for advanced lasers. About 150 days for large advanced lasers. So. I came up with the idea that it would be, in my mind, cool to have a little skill points boost for training in a more practical way. Gain 1 skill point per second for Amarr BS by using an Amarr BS, for example. Maybe that could make it mentally easier for people to got back to, for example, Cruisers, which are quite practical sometimes anyway. But it could probably keep players who gets tired of all the waiting and want to get into action.

Another thing: Please make more T III ships. Every ship main category should have a group T IIIs.

Yet another thing: Some of the ships looks weird. Yes they're space ships, but what's up with the Gallente's Dominix class and Caldari's Raven? The Raven is a good ship, but the "wings" looks rather wierd, thick and bricky. The New ships coming in the winter expansion are cool, though! Design is a subjective thing, but that's was my opinion as a design student.

Its there but the fuctionality needs to be drone stays connected if in system. When you jump to another system then you need to use the functionality to reconnect.

Transfer ownership of a POS to another corp

Bulk import / export personal contacts.

Drag and drop functionality with the browser - drag item to a text field in the browser and it will populate the text field with the item / character's name.

Nicer transition between systems. Loading bar is good, but perhaps more discrete? A fade or something. I dunno.

A universal search box. Type a system name, an item, a character or whatever. It should be easy to get to - click on the box in the main interface. Results should be linkable.

LAST RESORT button. Obliterates all modules (completely destroyed). Removes all remaining shield, armour and cap. Has a one in ten thousand chance of catapulting you 150km from your current position.

1. A way to delete my reply from forums.

2. Preserve the writing i've wrote on forums -> Currently the preview button erases everything when something extraordinary happens; Like "The input may not contain html" error. (- I wonder why this error comes when you link a forum link...)

3. Make mining more intresting. And fix mining lasers, plz.

4. Away to get my spread assests to one place: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=169784 for example.

5. Sell multiple items at once.

6. Traps to covert ops scouts; for example mines!

And all the things that Deamos posted down below...

When you play on multiple machines, there's stuff that you have to set on each machine:

-drone groups
-container lock/unlock
-bookmarks
-overview settings
-.. perhaps more.

Having these (and others) identical across all installations would be very useful. It would probably require a storage and synchronisation service.

Also - I second the 'easier character switch' request I read on one of these pages.

I.) TINY annoyance: The English-language Audio feedback for "Warp drive active" seems to have a long delay.

Repro: Quickly, click a jump gate in Overview, then the "Warp to 0" arrow, and Ctrl-S or the Autopilot button.
Result: The "autopilot engaged" audio and "Warp drive acive" audios will overlap; but "Autopilot engaged" plays way *before* the "Warp drive active" audio.

Expected: Audio playback should mirror the order of commands as entered by the player.

II.) Research agent tells you it's okay to cancel a mission ... then does not offer another one unless you cancel and restart research.

I tried this with the Level 3 Roden Shipyards research agent in Jel. [It also worked with a level 4 Gallente research agent, so I assume this affects all research agents.]

Repro:
1. Start Research with that research agent.
2. When you're offered a mission, Decline this mission.
3. The agent now says something to confirm the player's decision, stating that "something else should come up soon enough" (approcimately).
Result: The player expects the agent to give another mission within 24 hours. He doesn't. I cancelled research when there still was no new mission (after some 2 days).

Problem: That agent does not give you any more missions if you declined one.
Workaround: To get more research missions from that agent, cancel research, then start research.

Expected: Agent should either a) clearly state that player needs to start a new research project to receive another mission; or b) actually keep offering missions.

III.) This actually is a not-so-minor annoyance: The new API keys do not provide EveMon with information on Corp-owned jobs. Evemon devs claim CCP just removed the ability to read corp orders from the API system. Unfortunately the forums offer no real solution.

IV.) If Eve puts stuff I'm trying to sell into my Orders, it might as well tell me so?!

1. Place large stack of items in cargo, say several hundred tripped power circuits.
2. Find the one system where ppl pay a lot for this item
3. Move items from ship cargo to station items . Right-click item and "Sell", then click Okay without double-checking everything.

Result: If the best buyer only needs a few items, you will only sell that tiny amount.
The rest is *automatically* put on the market as an ORDER without any warning or feedback to the player.
Expected: After selling to the best buyer, the remaining items should IMO remain in your cargo.

[Yes, it's just User Stupidity combined with a not-always-friendly UI.]
[The story in short: Needed cash, so I was going to sell Tripped power circuits: Had some 500 ... bought 950 more ... went to another system ... sold all the ones I had in cargo ... and received money for 250 TPCs. The remaining 1200 seemed to be gone without a trace.
I spend 30+ minutes docked, searching for the stuff, writing a ticket, asking whether I was hallucinating & where my [several dozen million ISK] had gone. As I retraced everything to make sure the repro steps worked, and typing the exact purchase dates and times for the GM, I clicked "Wallet -> Orders" by accident ... and spent the next 10 minutes face-palming, swearing in several languages, then facepalming some more. :-]

V. The most interesting "Eve Economic Report" seem to have stopped in late 2010. Even back then, I was amazed at how excellent this PDF was and how few players (even some of the "market PVP yay" types) knew it existed; I'm now kinda wondering why CCP is letting the QEN series die without one tiny announcement. So, erm, will there ever be another QEN, or an announcement telling us why you're not releasing any more QENs?

I love the new changes made for the winter..(Curse you, CCP, for dragging me back)

However, if you are looking for things that could be added, heres my opinion as one of those "bitter old vets"

1: Stock Market/Share system Revamp - This has been promised since Day 1, I actually was really interested in this when I picked Eve up back in the day. I want to do a Hostile Corporate Takeover!

2: Directional Scan Revamping - This Needs some work. Back in the day, it was tough, but masterable. The degree indicator made it possible to really lock down where a hostile might be. Since the removal of the indicators, it became really tough to grasp where your target might be. D-Scanning already is a time sensitive process, lets see this worked on.

3:Corporate Wide PI - I think this needs to be implemented. Give corps the ability to create larger facilities, sharing, control, etc.

4:Return mines - I miss the old python mines. I remember that they were originally removed due to griefing/lagging. Now that Eve is up on its feet, kicking ass and taking names, perhaps it is time to return deployable minefields, perhaps set them up like the damage clouds in some PVE missions work.

5:Fix the damn High Sec POS standings requirements - I am not a PVE kind of guy. I like to do PVP and maybe keep a high sec POS to do some research on my BPOs. Since 99% of all high sec labs have 29+ day queues, maybe it is time to make it easier to deploy a POS in High Sec. If you have to, increase the Starbase charters or restrict non-uber standing players/corps to deploy only a Small POS. I have been wanting this since research slots have been in a constant jam.

6: Allow for public renting of POS slots - If you wont/can't do point #5, please allow corps to set POS slots to be rentable by non-corpmates or alliance members. This might be sufficient to fix the Slot issue and fix the current annoyance of trying to run a research alliance/corp nowadays. In addition, it might help add some more competition to the T2/T3 market if you allow renting copy slots, etc.

7: Staggered released of WiS - Why did WiS work completely stop? I was enjoying the fact that this had finally come to pass. I do agree that Incarna did lack content, I felt the main problem was the approach. WiS is not the main focus of the game, but it was more like the icing on the cake. How about with each major expansion, you release 90% content and 10% WiS stuff. Also, fulfill my dream of being able to observe the outside of the station from within the station.

And here are some more recommendations which are a little more far fetched

1: Make .5 Systems a little more rough to live in - I miss the days when I could kill the pilot who annoyed me in .5 and still had a degree of threat of Concord/gate guns. Make it so that .5 systems still cause Concord, but they are fightable. The same goes for .5 system gateguns.
2: Cut down on the gate guns in Low sec - Gate guns make it tough to be a starting pirate in Low sec. Your typical newbie pirate, new to the game only has a frig and really wants some action. Let him play.
3: Module/Slot type specific targeting - Please dear gods, add in the ability to target a slot type with guns. I have been hoping for this for a long time and it could really add some dynamics to fleet battles. Maybe allow a pilot to target High,Mid,Low slots, or just Engine systems.
4: Gate taxes - Nullsec should allow for allow for gate taxes or some ability for the corp/alliance to better control their territory.
5: Alliance deployable Gate/station guns - Much like #4, give alliances more control over their ability to protect their home. Let them add gate guns / station guns in territory they own.
6: Dedicated Science vessels - The coverts are nice, but they also have more of a combat role. How about a weaponless science vessel that allows for easier scanning of wormholes and their information (size remaining, time remaining)
7: Player owned stations - I would love to be able to deploy something as a player and not as a corp. I know this has been examined before, but it does deserve another look.

Again, many of these are just my own personal wishlist, but I think they would make a difference. I am very happy with the recent "about face" that CCP has taken and I hope it continues.
