Dear spacefriends

A year or so ago, I started a backlog of little things. At its highest point, it had 300-400 small features; some awesome, some of dubious quality. With two little things releases at the start of the year and more coming this winter, we've churned through the top layer of them. They were prioritized in terms of quality, and we're simply so deep into this list that I'm running into more and more stories that just aren't worth it.

That tells me it's time to throw the list out and start making a new one. That's what this thread is for. Hand me your grips and feature requests and I'll prioritize them on my list.

Drones don't follow your orders. They don't focus fire even when the option is selected and they randomly drop targets. This happens in both aggressive and passive mode. Point being the current AI makes relying heavily on drones a very frustrating exercise in cat herding. Either fix the AI or take it behind the shed and shoot it. On second thought better just shoot it anyway and make a totally new AI from the beginning. That way there is no risk of porting over bugs from the old AI.

Any chance that you could stop drones being attacked by sentry guns? Big smile

Oh and how about being able to have locked friendly targets, placed in a different area of the screen. Or have them colour tagged. Cool

It would be amazing if all available targeting slots were shown on the UI as empty boxes when nothing was targeted. When a target is destroyed, the focus (or what ever you guys call it) does not switch to the next target down the list until you actually click on that target. You should also be able to select an empty targeting slot to pre-activate a module on once your targeting of the next ship is complete, even if you have other targets locked up.

Also, please add color tags to the targeting boxes.

Easier way to tell if you are warp bubbled, scammed or any other effect on your ship. Right click the effect icon to target or view who is doing it to you.

Orbit/keep at range settings stored per fitting. Or allow defining those preset values.

Remake the textures for capital ships to 2048² rather than the current 1024² that it shares with smaller ships.

Textures of that size work fine on smaller ships, but frankly they look terrible on capitals. Even if you limit it to the highest settings, or make it a check box option in graphics settings, there are plenty of cheap graphics cards that can handle those textures en mass these days and it would be appreciated by us capital pilots.

Hell, while you're making 2k textures, redo the stations with them as well. You could argue that capital pilots shouldn't notice the low texture quality with the normal camera distances, but you cant say the same about stations considering how close we are to them.

1) Delete the idea of a "shield-slave" equivalent in eve, it is not needed.
2) Make shield bonuses apply properly
3) Delete supercaps?
4) Revisit frigates and cruisers. Make cruisers tougher, and frigates faster. The Dramiel wasn't overpowered, all the other frigates were strictly worse. Frigates should be very fast, Interceptors have the advantage of being harder to hit as well. More speed is more fun, and frigates should be the most fun.

Dear CCP Soundwave,

If it could be made so that pirate NPC's stop shooting at people with sufficiently high faction standings to that respective pirate faction, I and a lot of other pirate roleplayers would love you / the devs implementing it forever and ever. This is a little fix that benefits anyone running missions in NPC nulsec though, as it gives them a little edge in pvp situations.

A minor suggestion for that would be to maybe not have it in missions that you accept yourself. If you accept a mission against your favorite pirate faction, they should damn well shoot at you.

PS: Another totally unrelated little thing I'd love would be a mass lock / unlock vote button for corporate blueprints. Nobody gets happy about clicking 300 times to lock 300 blueprints and then having to go through 300 votes so you get 300 notifications. And that is just a small blueprint collection.

* A change character option - its very tedious to log off and back on to switch characters - Plus I fumble alot and usually click on the wrong char.

* For Mega/Corp Management skills plus Ethnic relations to be either to apply automatically instead of spending ages looking for that little button hidden away to apply "current member allowance*

* Get rid of CSPA charges , the majoirty of players that I kow set it to 0 - we have options to not accept convo's so having the CSPA is a little redundent.

* Make the Ingame recruitment Ads much more apparant in game - its seems to be hidden away and I woudlnt say ignored but just over looked (prolly a big one instead of little one).

* and on the point of "little" things .. a endless supply of Yellow Pages for CCP Guard cause he is so little xD *Esp neeeded for when interviewing the mighty CCP Tallest

Make a password list for POS or your ship can remember last password entered between docks and system jumps, is annoying to enter a password every few minutes.

Even with Starship Piloting and Advanced Starship Piloting at Level 5, when you issue the command to fly from A to B and object C is in the way you'll find your ship flapping around on said object C.

Giant secure containers that are giant for REAL. Give us containers matching industrial's cargo spaces. Think about trains and trucks IRL. The cargo there is stored in wagons which are dumb and require no pilots. Why can't spaceships act more like locomotives in this scenario? Perhaps the ability to connect containers too and then just use one tractor beam to bring them all home.

Oh, you wanted "little" things didn't you. What?

Okay, how about the ability to add targets to a NEW "My Target" frame specifically for drones.

Basically you have a new Target frame that will be the 'priority' targets for drones.

It's really annoying that drones go after the big ships when it's the smaller Targeting Breaker ships are left untouched.


It's basically a "focus" frame that abides BY THE SAME ruleset as the current target frame. This means if you're ship can only lock 5 targets and you can mentally process 7 locks....

You'll still only be able to lock 5; even if 3 are added to the drones' target list.

After all targets are destroyed in the list the drones default back to what they do now (when they actually work rightP)

If that's STILL to big then how about changing it so the drones target (aka Prioritize) ships they are suited for?

Light -> Frigs / Destroyers
Medium -> Cruisers / BC
Heavy -> BS+

As I said, while I appreciate Bob the Drone trying to destroy that battleship that's wailing on me for ~400+, I would really appreciate if Bob would go and destroy the frigate that's ECMing me or Scramming me.....

**Note, this is for NPC fights; I expect you to do the work on your own in PVP**
