So we see 18 Marmites in Uedama/Sivala and think they'll engage our 7 man fleet. The only guys who stayed for the fight were the Italians - they're always the only ones willing to fight.

The rest bitched out while we killed 2 ships. Then the smack starts... so we leave.

After we leave, Marmite kill a mission ship worth 2 bill (nice kill btw), so we turn around... they dock up. This is the smack they lay down on us:

OH OH AND this little nugget was dropped in local Uedama soon after... amazing.

I have NO idea what FPS you play (Hello Kitty is not an FPS btw), but my experience is that there's more trolling and hate mongering on xbox/pc gaming than in Eve. All I have to say is "Minnesota Burns". Google it and enjoy.



Im not too sure what FPS he is talking about either... every one that I have ever played short of ARMA 2 on both XBOX and PC have nothing but kiddies running around with hot mikes and nothing but bullsht to say.

Should also consider the fact that in COD you dont work for three months to afford, fit, and learn to fly your ship to see it pixelated because you did something stupid or were just plain outclassed. Losing something in eve is a bit more personal than hitting the "respawn" button and jumping into the battle with a fresh kit, your only loss being a "ticket" for the teams counter. Apples and oranges, m8.

And yes Danalee, I know its you home system and all.. but if I use Marmite's way of counting then Vegas did not exaggerate this time.
And again when we (Devils) showed up for the party (fashionably late) it was a pretty even fleets, but then no activity from you guys, other than 3-4 alts watching our part of the fleet.

Next to Devils there was also a game of tears delegation and other solo/duo appearances from other wartargets.
About 30 sharks circling our pond. Ain't nobody got time for that Big smile

The point was that Vegas says;

Ehm.. I was in Amarr watching you docked in station for a good while, while I got reports from my members alts that the numbers Vegas is saying is the facts. I even think.. if you guys had reacted then.. you could have killed Vegas and his guys.
But as soon its a fair fight, you dont play.

And the Loki was just a consolation price for showing up to play.

True that, I bought and fitted some ships before heading out to the great unknown.

Which numbers are the facts again? 18? or the 31? or something else?
And is that number only in allliance members or does it include alts/scouts/random guys in local that got on the list somehow?

Fair fights are a fantasy, we'll engage if we think we have an above average chance of beating the opponent or when we are hired to engage. None of those criteria were met. What did happen is Vegas got all his allies worked up over nothing again and that's something I admitedly chuckled about Big smile
