I know what you mean and to each his own, Kane.
It all depends on what your expectations are, I do enjoy a good meal in an expensive restaurant from time to time but it's always an adventure. Sometimes it's very good, sometimes it's... Not so good Big smile

At least with Mac Donalds you know what to expect and you don't overpay (And the kids are entertained, that's important for me aswell).

Funny how I started this alliance to avoid the nul sec drama, ego's, etc..... cuz high sec is drama free, lol......ok maybe not. While I was running a fps clan, at least people had no need to talk about every kill/loss. You shoot you kill or die. Fun, then you did another round. Any nulsec alliances around with less of the above .... What?

People do care.

We all joke about it, but for certain people, EvE is REAL. It's a very big part of their lives and success and failure in it matters. That's not a criticism - you can do what you want with your life, but we have to be mindful of the fact that we all have different reasons for being here and different ideas about what's important. C&P is littered with posters who are afflicted with REAL to a greater or lesser extent.

You're also going to find egos wherever you go. You can't hide from it. You're doomed :p

If you claim you are pro just because of that, then sure, i can say i'm pro because i could ninja in on 10 titan kills and then runs back to station to hide and then claim i'm pro at this game just because i have alot of isk destroyed from that.

Nightmare they just want to say "Hey look at me im good too" thats all they can say I get lots of isk killed. Theyve got some pretty fail losses too.

I have NO idea what FPS you play (Hello Kitty is not an FPS btw), but my experience is that there's more trolling and hate mongering on xbox/pc gaming than in Eve. All I have to say is "Minnesota Burns". Google it and enjoy.
