A bit of a shame it needs clarification, one can suspect you don't want to understand SublimeRage,

He did throw out the offer to wardec marmite in amarr local and sublime fail was the only taker.
As in there and than at that point from all the people there.

But yeah, we are spinning and telling bullshit stories here Roll

I don't know what youre talking about sublime rage. Ill shoot ships in amarr when I feel like it. Like the kills yesterday. You're blowing smoke...and youre of no concern. I see a dozen alliances hungry for our blood in amarr daily (that's right...its not just you), you think you matter much? I myself am looking for a change of scenery after getting 3000+ kills in the last few months in amarr....kinda like a used condom now. You can have it.
I'm getting the urge to roam and stuff so hopefully you don't get caught off the efa undock. (your behaviour yesterday [coming to madimilire] had me thinking you were either high , drunk or most likely on a triple dose of anti-anxiety meds). Very out of character.

What's nice about Sublime and I is we laugh about what we do in game together in convo and on comms.

I respect his play style and approve/support his coronation as The King of Amarr. From this day forward I offer my allegiance and support to maintain his throne, which is dutifully his not by birthright but actually fighting for the Amarr SOV.

It is with delight I send this cable throughout the lands.

Oh man, we've hit a MAJOR breaktrough. Closure at last!
Sublime is the King of Amarr, Vegas is his friend and they talk and stuff, they respect each other.

Ladies and gentleman, this is as good as it gets.

Now that everything is cleared out, let's get back on topic. Clients and possible corps that want to join us, it's your turn again.

If new 'King of amarr posts' are needed, let's make a new thread, mkay?
If a new 'we/I are/am awesome and we/I dunked you' threads are needed, same thing.
If our PVP is better than yours threads are needed.... You know the drill Cool

A great thanks to all participants and thanks to our viewers, it was quite the ride!

After all that has been said over the last few days and the change in how Marmite pilots fly around I have to say that something like this has happened before.

A little over a year ago my corporation started a 12 month war against Ivy League(Eve University). Knowing that we were a mere fraction of their size we accepted that we could not take on their blob. Instead we decided to wage a form of guerrilla warfare on them. We would look at each players killboard and stance in the alliance. Primary targets would begin with directors, CEOS, FCs, and the wealthy. There were our targets because they were the most known and if they died their name would easily stand out to the grunts on the killboard. Hourly locators were in effect to see if they ever skipped a beat. Once they did something irregular we would track them down and kill them. Didnt matter what they were in, if the leader was paranoid to lose a ship, everyone would be paranoid.

I know Marmite isn't the same size as Ivy League or even remotely as organized but they are acting as Ivy League once did. I will try to explain in phases how Ivy League evolved over our year long war. Marmite has a lot more pressure on them so this timeline could very well be accelerated and apply to them too.

1st Phase: Alliance shrugs off smaller corporations and continues to think nothing will happen to them
Result- Expensive losses start to occur making people pissed. Average members start to notice that daily activities are being effected.

2nd Phase: Alliance finally recognizes the small entity by forming blobs to combat the sightings
Result- Small entity is too fast to be caught and logs off once the blob catches up. Members of blob become discouraged after a few roams. Members are starting to feel unsafe when alone. The parasites begin to leave because they no longer get to do normal daily activities.

3rd Phase: Active players that were once apart of the blobs begin to ignore the form ups. Alliance becomes divided where some want to stop the problem and others want to ignore it
Result- Smaller blobs are easily countered and get wiped out. Lots of members leave due to tension and loss of ships. People that don't want to leave go inactive. Remaining players go the cheap route. Lots of Drama!

4th Phase: Membership feels helpless and overwhelmed. Alliance goes into a dormant stage with little activity and a questionable future. Either it is to big to fail or all that remains is the original membership.
Result- Alliance fails/remains inactive

In my opinion Marmite is still in the 2nd phase. When we started to destroy 10 bil a week on Ivy League they called a retreat to Aldrat like Marmite did to Uedama. Unfortunately nobody likes to be told where to live, what to fly, how to fly, and to not die so that is where all of the drama started. Saving face is a temporary action, it cannot stop the inevitable. If Marmite can't turn around fast then they will have a tough time ahead of them like Ivy League once did.

That was a long read phew. Eve university has nothing to do with marmite. I appreciate the analysis and your 'phases of alliances' theories..
Theres just one flaw. No marmite member was told to retreat to uedama...that's pure spin by vegas.
I have iterated my thoughts on the eve uni war in alliance. At the end..im still having loads of fun and enjoy the shower of attention and stuff.
Keep flying fun

Nice read, Zeus.

I do miss the moral of the story a bit, both your corp and Ivy league seem to be doing fine?
