I see what you mean and it does put my stand in perspective. Your play style evolved and I’m sure in time mine will to.

Allow me to try and add some more information and maybe we meet in the middle.

You see, I’ve played this fantastic game for a while, this isn’t my first character.
80% of the time, I did the industrial and PVE side and enjoyed the community while doing so,
it’s but recent months I’ve explored the world of PVP, starting in null sec for a short while
(costing me a hilarious Orca loss with every single item in it I owned at that point in time ),
going back to hisec due to machinations above my head.

Then I tried lowsec and did so with some degree of success.
Made a lot of new friends and succeeded in forming up against some of the bigger pirate alliances there,
I’ll tell you it was a blast. I know it’s a game, know it all too well,
but the adrenaline rush from fighting real players with ‘real’ stakes…
Never experienced such a thing in the 25 Years I’ve been playing computer games.

Than we got back stabbed by a bunch of self proclaimed anti-pirates which resulted in us going back to hisec.
I loved every bit of it. The fighting, the diplomacy, winning and losing, the cloak and dagger stuff, everything.

Haven’t regretted a second in marmites, I’m playing with the big boys now.
They’ll scold me for saying so but these guys are all cool in their own way (heck I even kind of like Vegas for his storytelling capabilities and leadership skills he obviously has).
Against my expectations, they aren’t all about stats and being elite PVP’ers, I see that as a plus.
It’s this camaraderie and relaxed fun I look for in any multiplayer game, hence I don’t feel as if we got stomped or anything,
in the end we might have lost a battle but we did it together and laugh about it afterwards (well… maybe a short while later anyways )
after all, FUN is to be had. I don’t care for ‘real PVP’ and neither should you unless you feel this is the only way for you to have your fun.
If so, more power to you.

Now Marmites are a merc alliance in every sense of the word, there is no denying that.

The goons, test, et all are hardly carebears, do you agree? Any one of these groups should be able to hell camp us until we quit but yet they don’t. In fact, we kick theirs and I like it.
Some clients want us to wage war against mining corps and other PVE groups. We do that, we like it.
Some people have been faux-offended and want revenge, we do that, we like it.
Sometimes, someone talks big and gets wardecced by us, we like it.
You might not remember me, but I once hired your alliance to go kill some miners.
You guys failed at it but I’ve been told (by you at that time) that you had fun. For me, that was isk well invested. I liked it.

What I’m trying to say;
In the grand scheme of things we really don’t care for the machinations of one guy and his followers,
we really don’t (you’ll say that this wall of text proves otherwise, so be it, I had fun writing it )
I’m just trying to demonstrate both sides of the story. Who are you to judge?
This thread is a recruitment thread and a means to find more ‘jobs’,
as long as the VegasLegion keeps trying to **** it up, I’ll be here to provide a counter.

I like how all the marmites (cept for the spais ) have no idea why we are actually doing this.

When you paint an alliance with a brush, you paint the whole alliance and everyone in it.

As for vegas and his other hirees, hes just butthurt mad...you can really tell.

Time to get over the thought that if you kill a Null sec alliance Ibis you are pro.... which is exactly what marmite has done since day 1.

I got my own thread on the forums made by a rebirth member...ill be there if you want me....im personally boycotting this impotent rage fest thread.
