[Odyssey] Unofficial Patchnotes // Massive Feature Write Up

Hello everyone.

I have been working on collecting all information to everything that changes in Odyssey, be it from forum posts, dev blogs, Fanfest presentations or Sisi testruns of other players and myself.

Every bit of the relevant info is there, but there are also allways links to the sources, where you can read how the info was originally released.
Please let me know if you find something missing or to be false. I will update this frequently.

The article is part of a site I'm working on, that focuses on game development news on EVE and Dust. It is work in progress though, so it might be a bit buggy.

Cant log in to the test server to confirm, still waiting on that remirror that keeps being pushed back. There was talk of a updated NPE becouse of the changes to scanning and a new 3d ship progression system so you can see what you can fly. I would do a check of all icons and all neocom panels to see what has been changed but not talked about. Also run a new character thru Character creation and NPE to see what has changed.

So the Origins video is going to be the new intro now? I just enabled the intro on my Singularity client and sure enough it was there. Awesome.

Also, once again: the Paladin is currently using the Apoc model as a placeholder. The ship is getting its own distinctive model which should be released with Odyssey.

The Daredevil is also getting a new skin, since its previous skin was actually an Angel Cartel livery. It's now decked out in proper Serpentis colors: http://i.imgur.com/xeWZrZ8.jpg

Thx, nice page.

Sry to say i really don't like how ccp lowers skill reqs more and more removing all long term goals. i'm all for getting noobs into vaiable ships to do stuff, but removing all lvl5 skills for even the largest ships in the game is mehh...even more capital online gameplay.

Nice, blatantly ignoring the fact that capital training times will remain virtually identical.

One thing i couldn't find, is the improvement for missile users. Whenever you're on your "last" shot, the target start to blink... This makes it way easire to count volleys.

Amazing! You might want to keep an eye out on the SiSi test tomorrow, from what I've heard there might be some additional stuff demo'd tomorrow.
