From the logfile this seems to be the error:

Just run exefile.exe in the bin directory, and it works fine

Same problem here....finally got eh launcher updated, stuck in offline mode. Restarted 5, 6 times now, nothing changed. Try to launch via the bin .exe, then I get incompatible protocol.....this better not screw up my multiboxing, otherwise my 90$ a month for 6 Eve accounts might find it's way into something more useful.....like alcohol, perhaps.

Repair tool either fixed it or CCP stopped being idiots.

I assume neither is possible because both seem idiotic.

Just got a 6.1MB patch from the binary. That broke too.



"Errors occured"

"See the logfile 'C:\Users\********\AppData\Local\Temp\nsi99.tmp\patch_win.exe.log' "



Folder was empty. But I imagine it had something to do with access permission to the EVE folder structure.

Tried launcher again. Giving me the error code: 29FB988E-9E1E-41AC-919A-085EBCAE3DE1

Running repair tool....

Thanks for posting this but unfortunately the server is unresposive and I can't see the content.

The test server won't launch either "OFFLINE MODE"

Where do I get the launcher's logs to report them?

Mine launcher is completely fubar'd now, after these changes. It simply says

OFFLINE MODE

Restart Launcher

Even after restarting the launcher and computer, and I have totally fine access to the internet.
Everything's Air Droppable at least once.

WOW,

I will not file a dam bug report, Can I even do that without logging in? Why should I waste more of my time? I don't get payed to help you fix the mess you made that you did get paid for. In fact, I pay to play this game, which I now can not play because you broke the game launcher. And you expect me to bend over backwards to help you fix it??

How many players complained about issues with the new launcher on SiSi, Almost nobody could get it to work right. You ignored player feed back and released it anyway. Now we have a huge mess.

CCP also seems to be ignoring most of the player concerns about the Odyssey Expansion. Will that too end up in a big mess?

Is not ignoring the community what got CCP into so much trouble with Incarna??

Well as they say history repeats itself, I just didn't expect it to happen so soon.

Fix it today, or revert to the old launcher until you can get it to actually work. Dam, I have not felt like this since Failcom drove me from AoC. It went free to play, and I still will not play it, as I lost all respect for its developers.

Yes, but I'm stuck in a game must be patched.. File downloaded, press OK to update. So until they fix the launcher even my EXE launch is busted. :(

Both show as Service Unavailable to me now, loaded before but was slow as syrup.. like as if they were hosted in Australia.

First link: after about a minute or more the page finally loaded, after logging in I get "SERVER: Tranquility (UNKNOWN) "and a greyed out play button.

Second liink: Opened a text file after about 30 seconds.



Spoke too soon, I tried the first link again and got :

Service Unavailable

HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable.

Which baffles me, since people are posting in other forums to monkey around with the launcher.exe yet I can't fathom how that will fix this web-based error or the server showing unavailable on the web login page..
