There has been a box with notification right above the login on the start screen since the latest DT yesterday, so everyone had at LEAST 24 hours warning, well unless you where a casual gamer that doesn't log in every day of course.

Very nice CCP - a few days after a successful fanfest and all of us drooling over odyssey - you fall back into your old days with bad Information politics - you seem to have completely forgotten old europe in your release Information -

I get up from a nice sleep - and all clients are logged off .. OK me thinks relog and go to work - nothing .. the only hint is a tiny message "Extended downtime" . Blerg ... 5 hours - and prolonged a further hour ... and NO INFO beforehand - and dont tell me you didnt know it a day before trying that upgrade.

And - where is the patch to download that is mentioned in the post ? Or is that Dust only patch ?

P.S. Jonah `? I didnt receive / see that mentioned warning - are you sure it was up since last downtime - the first poster wrote of 8 hours prewarn - which fits my own "experience" go to sleep short before 0:00 eve time - wake up 8:40 eve time - no warning AND immediate prolonged downtime

No offence to the guys who spent hours working on making drones look pretty. But couldn't all that time and effort have gone into something more... substantial?

Afterall, it is internet spaceships. Not internet spaceships where everyone looks at drones.

I approve of this extra DT.

It is a bank holiday here in the UK.
Day off for almost everyone.
Really good planning by CCP.
With so little notice as well!

It wasnt above the log in 24 hours prior. The last time I logged an account into Eve was last night at 2200, and there was no message or anything.

why cant you use a real time zone, you know GMT is a standard

UTC is lies it rolls like 3 time zones together im in UTC supposedly but it 13:50 and the servers down so obviously i should be in UTC -1

GET a grip useless Europeans that want your own thing so badly you fail when you try

GMT is the worlds original standard leave it like that
