The deployment of EVE Online: Retribution 1.2 and the DUST 514 Uprising build to Tranquility is underway!

On this 10th anniversary of EVE Online, we bring the EVE Universe one step further with the release of Uprising to DUST 514, along with Retribution 1.2. Click here to read the patch notes for EVE Online, and click here for further information about Uprising.

Downtime for Tranquility started at 08:00 UTC and is estimated to run until 13:40 UTC. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes.

Any updates to the schedule will be posted here.

UPDATE at 12:11: Due to difficulties encountered, downtime is extended by one hour. Estimated time for the server to come up is now 13:40 UTC.

UPDATE at 12:40: Because of the heroics of our deployment team, our initial estimation of one hour extended downtime was too much. Tranquility is estimated to come up at 13:00 UTC

UPDATE at 13:00: We are experiencing start-up difficulties. Due to this reason, downtime is extended for 20 minutes. Estimated time to come up is now 13:20 UTC

UPDATE at 13:20: Tranquility is up and running! Thank you all for your patience and enjoy EVE Online: Retribution 1.2!

Uprising

Sounds like a bunch of traitorous scum to me.

We should be able to randomly bombard their battlefields in the effort to restore order.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

Plan better next time, you're screwed as far as it goes for this patch.

CCP and your sneaky patch.... V3 drones ... any possibility you fixed the turrets on them so they move?

'Tech3 ships need to be put down, like a rabid dog drooling everywhere in the house, they are out of line' CCP Ytterbium Nerf missile range into place where is the TD missile change?  ..projectiles should use capacitor. ABC's should be T2 HABC and nerf web strength its still too high

This extended downtime wasnt exactly well announced. Normally in situations like this we get a couple of days notice, is there a reason we didnt this time?

Im not complaining about the content, or the reason for the downtime, just the lack of notice.

It's hard to plan when the extended downtime is officially announced 8 hours before it starts.

Can we please have an official comment as to why this downtime was announced with such a short notification?

They're still hungover from Fanfest. Obviously, they weren't clearheaded enough to remember to give an announcement sooner. Blink

Definite FAIL on communication of this coming.
What's the point of the 'Latest News' box on the Launcher if you don't use it for stuff that's important ?

Yea probably, but this patch hasnt just happened, i reckon its been known about for around a week that there was going to be some kind of update, and its only the past few days which have finalised exactly what was going to be done. Therefore to only give an 8 hour warning is a big step back to the the userbase been mushrooms as far as CCP are concerned.

It is a 10 year celebration. 10 years ago we would get patch's at ZERO notice so maybe CCP are having a nostalgia type patch. X

Love it... another short notice patch, for mostly NON-EVE integration [someone nuke dust now pls], compiled by outage overrun by at least another hour.

Projectiles need to use capacitor? What gun have you ever fired or even seen that needs anytype of power? Projectiles are just giant space guns,a giant pin hits a giant bullet shell with gunpower in it,it explodes and sends the giant bullet flying. LOL
