Don't forget to get tested first for ocular transmitted diseases.

Syghtilis and pupil lice are very painful.

While I miss ghost training, it was a different world back then.

No PLEX and no queue are the major differences.

Now I train characters for six months to a year and never undock except to pick up skill books. And it costs me exactly as much as it did when I was ghost training. Which is nothing.

So I'm pretty...meh...about the whole issue.

I remember when they changed that and the drama was immense. I never saw the problem. Why should people expect to get something for nothing? It's a private company.

Well, the thing was that it was as some would say, a 'documented' feature, where you even could ask any dev/gm at the time and they all would acknowledge, 'yes your skill training continues even when your subscription has lapsed'.

Then CCP figured out *how many* people where actually ghost training (said ouch!) and declared it a long time bug that they just had fixed.
If they just had said, 'guys this is costing us way too much money we no longer can support this' then the outrage would had been far less then it was at the time.

But meh, that's ancient history.Cool

Just going to point out that ghost training was even advertised as a feature for a while. Then when they realized they could make more money by making you pay to benefit, said info was quickly removed, and ghost training was labelled as something like "unintended". Or an anomaly, can't quite remember.

Oh, and this thread is screaming "I'm so stoned I can't even get out of my chair, so I'm going to post insights."
