Make it payable with PLEX and it will always sell. The people who would want these kind of things can afford limitless PLEX anyway.

You know what would generate revenue for CCP?

Having custom ship paintjobs on the player market, even purely meaningless WiS, and huge, magnificient modular POSes, like sandcastles in space.

Of course making all of these would also cost money for CCP :)

I'd pay $100 for a one time per account security status increase.

I won't ever pay for character clothing. I see no value in that.

I second this, though I will pay ISK for clothing, but not very much. (I've spent about 120 mil on some Navy-gear, not sure why)
But yeah, if you're selling sec status increase, name your price.

Highsec is owned by players now. Systems 0.5-1.0 are New Order Territory. All miners and other residents of Highsec must obey The Code. Mining without a permit is dangerous and harmful to the EVE community. See www.MinerBumping.com

CCP tried that... it didn't go over so well.

Yeah, I don't really know if it's a good idea, but I'm just sayin' that If it was possible I would indeed pay out the a** for it.

I wish they would remove the Nex store and Wis completely, revert avatars back to the old school ones and get back to making in-space content and fortnightly chronicles to bolster the game lore.

why is there a CQ? what a waste! Roll CCP needs to pull their @$$es out of their heads and do something unique with the CQ.Blink

Like corp stuff. you only have access to a CQ if you have a rented office, and can only access the corp button in CQ. now that would be a start.Straight n/m like ccp would ever do that, too much like work and gets in the way of serous viking *****ingShockedLolPBlink

It has borrowed heavily from EVE but who hasn't.

One thing they do much better is give players reasons to spend real cash in the game without making those players impossibly powerful.

You can either grind for modest improvements or you can purchase their version of plex and buy upgrades for your characters personal weapons , clothing, equipment and cosmetic fun stuff like paint jobs for your ships, hair styles

I found my self spending on STO quite happily . EVE , they copied u, u copy them.

Looking forward to Dust and looking forward to non combat social interactions in ships and on star bases.... as well as more planetary interaction...... I am still flying in a universe of baubles for planets, pretty to look at but do not touch,

EVE your hot

STO is a spacy version of WOW. Horrible pointless gameplay, crappy animations and a P2W cash shop after it went bust and Perfect World Entertainment took over. The game was junk to begin with and will be junk no matter what they do to it.

Given the backlash that happened last time I would say it is a horrible idea.

i'd pay $15/month to play this game

maybe CCP could also sell in-game gametime vouchers that could be traded to other players for ISK

a novel idea c/d

These things I would pay for:

Ship Skins (even customizable to a point)

Modular POSs or even just the ability to rotate some modules and arrange them in the neat fashion CCP has them in missions, connected to the tower, ect ect

Corporate logos on our haulers/freighters

and yes WiS to a point.

For those who weren't here for Incarna, here's a summary of the major issues (though even that summary is incomplete: it ignores the natures of NeX items as bypassing the player-built economy of EVE Online, as well as being indestructible).

Note that the major complaints at the time were about the incredibly high prices of NeX items. Sensible people like me looked at the prices, realised the Noble Exchange was attempting to be a luxury goods store appealing to the capitalist elite, and brushed it off as a poor joke. The NeX is still broken: it's more easily accessible than Macdonalds restaurants, but still aiming to sell elite luxury items which can never ever be taken away from you while you're wearing them.

I would love to see those leather/rubber catsuits which were briefly available on Singularity. They were in previous demo videos for Ambulation (if anyone can point me at the one I'm thinking of, I'll link it here).

The complaint about the NeX bypassing the player built economy still stands: the items should be manufactured by players, the NeX shouldn't be ubiquitous, and the items "worn" should be destroyed when the capsuleer is podded.

Things like ship skins are already in game: special edition iterons, frigates and destroyers are here already. There's no reason to think these can't be added into LP stores the same way faction ships are currently stocked, if these custom ships aren't simply made available as BPOs.

I am a little upset at CCP for simply walking away from walking in stations.

In Star Wars: Galaxies, there were certain resources which were only available from some planets during specific "seasons".

In Mass Effect you have a fish tank in the captain's quarters.

Now wouldn't it be awesome if capsuleer or dust bunnies could engage in fishing to capture fish for the pet trade? Then you could invest in the appropriate equipment to store those fish for interstellar travel, to be sold on the market to capsuleers seeking a little joy in their death-stained lives?

Where does the NeX or LP store come into this? What about aquarium supplies? Or hiring minions to set your aquarium up in whichever CQ you happen to be residing right now? And the Kelly Chambers fish-feeding device?

Perhaps the NeX could even sell hints as to where and when one would find certain fish.

PS: it would be nice to have somewhere to display the scale model Thorax that I got in the Christmas bundle last year.

I would the corp logo on your ships maybe on the side of your titan(that should be big enough for everyone to see) or other capital ships.

it's not that pilot wears anything being in capsule all the time he is outside of a station.
So the question: why should dress (and other stuff from Nex) be destructible?

On the other hand items which are not connected to mechanic of game can live outside of it. It's like ships you mentioned (Sukuuvesta Heron, etc...), it's like cards we got with last gift pack, it's like snowballs and other stuff. They were given. They weren't manufactured.

I would love to see base caps of the different NPC-Corps sold for LP.

Another thing I miss is a plain normal pair of glasses. No shades, just glasses. I would even consider those hippster goggles glasses, if they were in the game.
Some Navy Uniforms from their LP-Stores might be nice.
Or a yellow hardhat with a headlamp from the ORE-LP-Store (I would wear it!).
If it doesn't violate the 12y age-limit perhaps a cigar(-stump).
Some medals that could attach to my outer clothing.
More ammo for the festival launcher. (Ice cream, confetti, butterfly farting unicorns).
A laser turret, that can shoot a rainbow arc to another ship.
An auto cannon, that shoots bubbles at a speed of 0,05s per round.
Drones that have glittering engine trails and giggle while they orbit your ship or launch foam at your enemy to give them the shine they deserve.

Some predefined texts that could display things like "I break for Caldari!" e.g. could be fun too.

The Gurista bunny ears (TM), some Blood Raider makeup, a Serpentis decal I can tatoo on the side of my neck might be nice too. :)

It wasn't what they did though, it was how they did it.

On a related note, I think that Guristas tatoo would be a best-seller Smile

Why would anyone buy vanity items for a avatar thats stuck in one room?
Now if you had wis with playable content that draws the exsisting player baee as well as new players then youd have a pritty solid market for vanity items as well as deco

Dust will just be a fad game that ppl pick up from time to time ive been a gamer for 20years i like fps play most them on my xbox or ps3 i play dust but not that much i might pic it up for a week then leave it for five weeks its nowere near adictive as most fps

i wouldnt spend real money on dust tbh it ok for couple quick rounds but thats about it

I think ccp droped the ball by not concentrating on wis first

my spelling sux brb find phone number for someone who gives a fu*k

nop cant find it
