EVE Online: Retribution 1.0 Issues

Station Services disappears. Only way to fix - ESC - change size of icons.
Scanner locks up and/or tab is completely blank. Sometimes can be fixed by docking, closing and then undocking.
Fleet tab locks up and/or tab is completely blank. Same as above.

Attempted to fix by clearing cache, then resetting buttons, and even reset ALL settings (nightmare). None of these fixed the issues. Issue occured again once I undocked....then docked again. Sad

EDIT: Peitioned both the Station Service and Scanner issue. Ticket: OPEN

New Issue after todays patch (1.0.6 i think):
when i change the price using mouse wheel, is doesn't change by 0.01 isk but by random intervals (0.02, 0.05, 0.07 always random).
What gives with this unannounced change in the patch notes? Makes adjusting those market orders that much harder.

Yeah I discovered the same temporary fix. Not everyone is having this issue but a good amount of people are. Ticket Open as well :(

When on a fleet, salvage drones only consider wrecks tagged by the owner, instead of fleet. so if 5 people are on a fleet only one will have auto salvage on drones, the other 4 who don't have wreck ownership are stuck manually savaging even if wrecks are white to them.

abandoning wrecks has no effect, drones still consider them invalid targets for auto salvage.

this really needs to be fixed, if lvl4s cant be soloed as effectively as before, you cant punish the few fleets that form up...

also, if salvaging is not a criminal action/suspect why doesn't auto salvage work only on owned wrecks? if the problem is "afk salvaging at the jita undock" then just make it so salvage drones, when sent to auto-salvage, go in a search cycle, if no wrecks are found at any moment, they should just stop and only restart when manually told to.

So, i figured out, that it must be an issue with the new "Tracking" Option in D-Scan.

Fix-Bypass:

  • If your Station Services-Window is not visible, undock.
  • After undocking press ALT-D alot of times, your D-Scan will then show up after some time.
  • Deactivate the "Tracking"-Option in D-Scan.
  • Dock-Up and the Station-Services will show up. All other windows also work so far, as I have tried that out.


So at least, you should disable the "Tracking"-Option in D-Scan, before you dock up.

This is still an issue, guys. The jettison sound/jet-can/wreck destruction sounds not scaling depending on distance makes dealing with wrecks and salvage a terrifying aural experience.

Please, won't you think of the children?

while mining with strips and crystals, when you mouse over the module it displays m3/cycle. however, this does not take into the account the crystals you have equipped and only shows your base mining amount with that module so the total is incorrect.

When I'm in space, and I have my d-scanner up, then go to dock at a station, my station services tab disappears. Help to resolve? Sent this to the petition dept as well.

I had problems approaching and orbiting a ship in space. I right clicked the name from my watch list and chose approach. My ship sat still. I chose orbit and my ship would not move. I was 50km away from my fleet mate whom I was trying to approach when in my scimitar. There was no Time Dilation and I did not have any lag. All events were happening clearly. There was only 50 ships on the grid. I just happened to be facing the right direction. So I hit the gas so to speak and hit the MWD and plowed everyone over. Please check into this bug.

the new tartget hud looks good but takes up way to much space, and the targets dont cycle up from to the upper tiers automatically anymore. also is there a way to go back to the simple damage notifications oor to move them from the center of the screen

I seem to be getting major UI lag since the latest patch (1.0.6). Things will be fine for a few minutes - and then the UI will become very slow to respond to any mouse action.

Typing things into chat windows doesn't seem to suffer from the same thing - but once it's triggered, activating in game controls via the keyboard is also laggy.

sometimes for no apparent reason when i re-size a client the tracking goes wonky and the camera starts spinning in some sort of vertigo inducing death spiral

usually indicating to me that the tracking onscreen position is saved somewhere off the edge of the newly downsized client window

its a pain to deal with and a pain to fix

so if you could save the tracking position in relation to the center of the screen and not in relation to the existing window dimension when the position is initially set that would probably allieviate the problem I am having

Not sure if this bug was always there or just in Retribution. When adding tabs for various functions (Navigation, Loot, Mining) and an item is removed from the view, the tabs lose individuality and become a single instance.

Steps to Repro:
Add 2 tabs to the overview
Name default tab Navigation and set that to General
Name second tab Loot and set that to Loot
Name third tab Mining and set that to Mining.

Now go to Navigation tab and remove canisters from the view.
Go to Mining and remove cans from the view.
Go back to Navigation and it now contains mining info. Change the tab back to General.
When you return to mining it is now displays navigation.

Delete the tabs and re-add them -- cans and all -- and you are back to normal but now you are spammed with all those stupid cans in space. (sigh)

I actually don't think it's a scaling issue, when the camera is within oh.... 6000m of an exploding ship, I can 'delicately' hear the 'klong' followed almost immedately by the loud one. I think the origional sound effect plays correctly at the correct time AND is playing in 3 other instances when it shouldn't be (again on ship destruction, salvage completin, can jettisoning).

But seriously, how hard is it to fix a sound effect, or maybe they've dumped it down to the bottom of the 'to do' list.

I am still having issue running 3 clients at once post retribution. The one client that is undocked will experience severe freezing for several seconds on grid change, undocking, and warping. Unsubbed 1 :( as i can no longer use them the way i was before the expansion.
Ive turned graphics down low and cpu/mem usage are both below 50% when active. I didnt think EvE was that much of a hog anyway, im just not sure what is going on here.

Has anyone else noticed gate rats in nullsec aggroing before one can align and warp off? And you get the ear piercing beep to remind you followed by the safe cracking ticking time bomb sound effect just in time to reach the next gate.
