EVE Online: Retribution 1.0 Issues

had a quick search and checked the last couple pages,

Cyno Effect - the cap ship jumping to a cyno - what happened? it just beeps (no effect) at me when i jump to.. and waits a couple seconds then appears in the target system with normal effect.

working as intended??

Looking for the top post to be an accurate summary of the previous 55 pages. That being the case, This is going to be "New"

Test Case:

User, 55 Million Skill Points (Me)
Clone 1: Bare
Clone 2: Full Set, +5 and +4 implants

In Clone 1. Training a skill... shows 14 days, 10 hours to complete.
% complete is 5%
Exit Ship, Pause skill training, Jump to Clone 2
Open Skill tree, "Apply" training again.


Skill shows 10 days, 1...... blink

:Error Condition:
Skill shows 14 days, 10 hours...
% complete is now 0% (the skill, with implants, should take 11 days... Since you have 14 days to go, you've done 0%)

swap in a new, untrained skill....
All numbers are correct

The skill that was swapped out... you can see the "correct" time and % complete in the list of trainable skills.
However, whenever you try to swap it in, it "Adjusts" to the incorrect values

Log off/In

Skill Sub System now works correctly.

I like having people mining in lowsec and such now. They are only out mining in dangerous areas BECAUSE of the warp strength. They dont have a huge yeild but who cares they are people to try and hunt down :D

Mission and complex aggro is still broken, you always get full room aggro even though the triggers/aggro range was supposed to be unchanged even with the new AI.

Good morning,

Great patch and thank you so very much for fixing the ship inventory filter thingy from popping up everytime I undocked!!!
New targeting system works nicely, for me.

Only a couple concerns from most annoying to least.

1) Salvaging Success Noise - OUCH! Sounds like somebody beating my head with a basball bat after a night of heavy drinking!
2) Ship Explosion Noice - OUCH! Sounds like somebody beating my head, well you get it...
(( At least a slider to allow us to reduce these noises without removing other ship sound effects ))

3) An option to resize the targeting bubbles would be nice.
4) Random HUD Graphic anomaly. 33% of shield/armor/hull are red but numbers are accurate and showing 100%. Redock fixes.

When running multiple EVE clients using the Windows junction method (Win7 64bit), the EVE client keeps crashing at after the character select screen.

The repair.exe tool did not fix the issue for me.

Random Installation selection issues, sometimes its "Current Blueprint Location" sometimes its current station

Could Klang take the (now rotting) pizzas & the launcher out as they leave the building plz.

Always love the unintentional irony of this sort of post.

You know those ships have a +2 warp strength so why aren't you planning for that rather than coming here and asking CCP to change the game to compensate for your laziness and plain stupidity?

IOW fit 2 scrams and stop crying.

still having probe location report errors ....

new to patch 12/11

refused mission 2 x first time my faction w giver went from 5.9 to 5.1 second time it went from 5.1 to 4.3 i have lvl 2 skills in faction modification. but this should not have an effect w refusal?

missions refused were 2 jumps into null sec repeatedly to the same place would have requested another but my faction dropped erronously.

completed a single mission and faction went from 4.3 to 4.5 ..............

I ran into a glitch today. I probed down a Serpentis Watch site in Allamotte / Essence. After clearing the first room I jumped into the second. When I got to the point of shooting structures, I shot the star gate once and every "wave" of ships spawned at that instant. I've read that the groups should only have spawned as I shot the various structures, so it looks like the trigger for spawns is not working right.

Salvage drones still not working as advertised on some commander wrecks. I reported this a while ago.

Still have not re-added jukebox, rioting will continue.

Not 100% sure if this is related but I'll post it anyway.

After launch day (10 dec) I lost connection to tranquility and I haven't been able to log back in.
It keeps saying connection error, no matter what.
Repeair.exe doesn't work, neither does reinstalling the game.
Cache didn't work, checked my firewall and everything.
Eve Worked just fine before 10 dec too, though the minute it got patched it broke down and nothing helps anymore.

FIXED:
Alright just move on people, had to change my port to 3724 for it to work.
Please, continue to discuss 1.0.4!

Installed 1.04 patch, Win7 x64 machine is now unbootable. Error message refers to

file: \boot\bcd

also

"C:\boot\bootstat.dat is corrupt"

The only change to my system has been the 1.04 update.

Workaround: Turn all sound sliders to off.

I've just noticed that when up close to a ship exploding, I hear the metal door "KLOOOOONG" sound at an appropriate sound level for the distance as well as a second metal door sound a moment after at max volume so it seems to be playing correctly AND incorrectly as well.

Belive it or not, when it plays correctly it sounds like a accompanyment sound to the origional explosion sound, very soft and gratifying, but it's loud and annoying every time when on grid:

  • Any ship at any distance explodes.
  • When someone drop a space turd... I mean.... can.
  • Some one successfully salvages.


When I find that little space leprechaun banging on that metal door I'm gonna kill it!!! Killrights or not.
