I have a strange issue when I jump clone and restart my training queue it ignores implants, I have to log out and back in before it will work.

Are you in the Planetary Interaction view? If so it's normal and should revert to the normal mode once you go out of that view. If that is not the case I will have someone take a closer look.


I actually just fixed it.

Right click in space > Configure > "Route" was unticked. Don't know why, but ok. I ticked it and the waypoints re-appeared.

However, my original problem still persists (from page 25, I believe)

Even with graphics optimized for Quality I still cannot see any of my turrets on my Maelstrom nor explosions of enemy ships.

As highlighted in bold, I still cannot see my guns on my ship, nor explosions or projectile ammo. I can; however, see missiles.

That's intended as a feature. You can drag targets into new rows to segregate them (for example, if you're in an RR fleet, or piloting a logi with combat drones), and the rows persist so that you don't have hostiles and friendlies all mashed together.

And if I don't want that? I can lock 7 targets, and the 7-th always jumps to the second row. I kill 6 targets and try to warp through gate, but then "Oh wait, forgot there is one more" crap happens.

Can you point me to the source of this?

As i can not differentiate between hostile and friendly veldspar during mining, the usability of the targeting system is broken in this use case, as the sequence of targeted and to be mined asteroids gets lost, which is important in fleets.

My client will not work after updating, i cant even get into the log in screen, eve starts and then immediatly goes unresponsive, i tried repair tool, same problem, I eventually did a complete uninstall and now whenever i try to install againi get "Archive Extraction Failed: 3" and a link to the files for seperate download.

I have now tried multiple times through both the installer and the full download and neither one is working, i continue to get Archive Extraction Failed: 3

What is this and how do i fix it?

Please, turn it off. I can't wear a headset now and use TS3 because that noise is shot directly into my head. I sit near a facility UPS at work that makes a similar sound, and now I can't hear a damned thing over that maddeningly insane noise.


^^^^ Agreed - it sounds like a low speed fan with the bearings starting to rub... It is annoying as hell. You have to zoom away from the ship to get the sound to stop....

It seems to be even worse when you zoom in on an Orca. The sound is almost constant <-- who the heck thought of playing that sound over and over was a good thing...

0.7 NPC Belt rats can lock you at 300km.

Also, I don't know if you realize it but heavy missiles have no range... please fix ASAP.

Just as a suggestion, have the music turn off completely when Music Volume is set to 0 not still playing in the background just with the volume muted so the resource is not being used, or a switch to turn music off completely. Never have liked EvE music much...

Just some more confirmation on this. Lost Love - Wei Tadaki 2/3 is full room aggroing in all rooms instead of the documented last 2. My buddy and I just got a bit of a kicking.

You guys might also want to consider replacing the switch to remove the crosshairs, the animated target iris is more than enough, and the lines all over the screen on 6 or more targets at a time really does diminish the over all beauty of the game.

Hi CCP,
Don't know if issue been mentionned or fixed, but when on scanner view the camera seems to be fix on "when you are" instead of "what you want to scan".
The click on signature doesnt work/dont follow anymore.
Makes the whole scanning a real pain.

Tracking Camera Really noising, everytime after tracking some item then if click mouse and move, the lens will disordered sway, make me feel sick, even worse after I cancel the Tracking Camera, it automate tracking on again. Doesn't it a bug. Please fix it give me peace back. My head is sicking by the blind lens sway。。。。。AttentionAttentionAttention

It can happen to the first client I open, or it can happen to the 2nd or 3rd or whichever number you pick. It is utterly random.
The client hangs and dies just after I have pressed the character I want to enter the game with, and the only thing I can do it to keep restarting the client, until magically all of a sudden, I can log on as normal.

Another update:

This morning I have been able to log on 3 times, out of a total number of attempts of 26 so far.
The vast majority of times the client hangs immediately after selecting character and then crashes, but the ship the character is in actually appears in space!!!! (verified but other logged-in account).

Honestly - I don't know how you people manage to stay in business with this level of coding (in)competence.........

Patch 1.02 reveals that this issues has received no attention, as the problem persists. Good job!
5 out of 22 attempts to log in today have been successful. The rest results in the client hanging/crashing immediately after character selection.

Is this getting any attention?? Can I at least get an acknowledgement of this issue?
Failing that - at least do the decent thing and tell me to f*ck off, if that is how you want to deal with this....... Roll


(To reiterate: This issue has only ever existed after the Retribution patch).

This morning's result: managed to log in 3 accounts using about 30 attempts. I have filed a bug report, but since I am unable to attach screenshots to bug reports, I have included two here that demonstrates how this immensely efficient time waster of a bug unfolds:

What makes you think that all changes would be in the patch notes? Now you can center the solar system map by double clicking objects instead of the old single click.

I think by default its set to always be on. Theres a little menu on top left corner of the 'targeted item' window, you can uncheck a box for that camera there. Hopefully that helps didnt quite catch what you were asking for. Was a pita for me tryign to manually fly in combat with that on until someone let me know about it.
